Breakin' 'Em In #19

When a bundle of films for me to review shows up in the mail, OranjeWife likes to go through them, see who she might like, complain about how others look, etc. In this case, Casey Cumz got her full seal of approval. Except for her name, that is. "Oh, Casey, you could have done way better than that. You're cute, too." I would think picking your porn name might actually be a bit hard. So many of them are alliterative that that's almost cliché. I mean, it's kind of your identity, you know? You could even be cast or have your success based on that one choice. Have to pick carefully. Holly Michaels isn't show in the most flattering light in the Vince Vouyer ad in the beginning. At all. Watching the opening, there's an odd fixation on Riley's race during the interview bit, Casey's body really does look fantastic (as does Riley's, of course), Juelz really should not have had her lips done. Granted, that's a guess on my part, but your top lip should only be about half the thickness of your bottom lip. Juelz has them more equal. And that's why she looks funky. There's something weird going on with that body these days, too. She's skinny in just the wrong way. Olivia Blu seems to have been told to continuously jiggle throughout her piece. I kind of expect that from Vince at this point. There's a certain immaturity level that he's never managed to get over. Things jiggling, girls being dumb, and race are all things he's never managed to get past. Ugh. There's also the Burning Angel-level of immaturity with handling menu options.

Here we get "More Babes" and "Previous Honeys" (sic) when we're selecting a scene. Much like BA can't get away from calling bonus features "Extra Shit," Vince has to keep doing things this same way. It bothers me, aside from style and tone, simply because it's lazy. Same thing with the way he talks to Casey. I like, usually, the way Vince makes a film, but there's just too much Vince in most of them. He's too grabby from behind the camera (I hate that as much as I hate low camera angle syndrome), meaning we get terrible shots because he wants to be grabby. That's what is more or less killing POV films as far as I'm concerned. Too many of these guys want to be the center of attention, to the point where it's a detriment to actually getting to see what we want to see. Yes, there should be styles of porn for all tastes out there. Most of what I would like to see is something focused on the woman performing. I'm lucky in that the porn mainstream caters to this. But more and more it seems that directors are interested in playing with the talent and being involved in the scene. Too much control. The same way a lot of male porn stars are no longer letting the ladies actually perform, but are more there to be used, directors are grabby, and I think it's Mike John who won't get his hand out of the way, rubbing the clit with his thumb throughout and perfectly ruining most shots. Vince is guilty of a lot of those sins here, and it hurts what should be a great scene with Casey. I mean, right from when the camera comes up, we should all be loving this film. That's an amazing body we're checking out straight away. Such a cutie, too. She's the type who would definitely get me out there to work as a performer. And we do start off well enough, though the interview bits are lousy. She should
be performing more throughout, though, and is instead more or less doing what she's told. I get the impression she's a whole lot better than that. Pity. Worse still, that's all there is here. It's just a blowjob scene, and one where the performance never quite comes out. That's kind of where I am with a lot of Vince's films lately. I should like them. I just don't. That's a shame, considering how big of a name he's been in the industry. I'd just like to see effort again.
