Stop it with the Acronyms
I'm that person. You all know one. Maybe it's you. I don't use abbreviations in text messaging. I happen to like the English language, and to watch it get killed by abbreviation is injurious. It's not that there are acronyms and all sorts of other assorted detritus that bothers me. It's the built-in hyperbole of it all that's my issue. And Devils has to go and poke that obnoxiousness with their own hyperbolic plots with OMG! I Fucked My Daughter's BFF! 8. I just died a little inside typing that. They really do love their plots, don't they?
We open with Katerina Kay, getting into quite the long conversation to open. But the body on Katerina and the action inovlved make the words worth it. She's really quite a good performer, especially considering her young age. Good stuff. Not great, but good. The second scene has Jordana Heat, and at least this plot is entertaining. Dude is out boxing, then comes inside where Jordana has skipped the clothing completely. Then there's the seduction bit, the part where, if you give into it, there's a decent chance some confrontation in a court room is coming your way. Not my favourite scene, but they do quite a good job with what they've got. Carter Cruise somehow just didn't do it for me. I don't like nipple fuses, and she just didn't have the presence I'd like. The acting in this one is just a bit over the top as well, and the giggly girl with older man vaguely scolding her is a bit off. Finally, Bliss Dulce gets it on with some guy in one of the nicest bathrooms I've ever seen. They do well with chemistry and energy in this one, though the light isn't balanced all that well, and they get washed out more than just a little bit. They also have the occasionally odd bunch of facial expressions that aren't seemingly connected to anything. Devils is generally technically competent, but they don't have perfection in their vocabulary. The plot, too, is just overdone. Maybe that's the running theme throughout. It's all just a bit much. If you like the cast, you just might like this film. But the performances just weren't there for me, and the talent simply wasn't to my liking. That's what I've got for this film with far too long of a title. Good, but not great.
