Ass Factor #6

The Ass Factory is probably my favourite studio. As such, I hold them to rather high standards with their films. Ass Factor has been a great series so far, but I do have to admit that I don't believe the sixth edition is the strongest one they've given us. The star power isn't there, the technical perfection isn't there, and I walk away ultimately not interested in Ass Factor 6. My biggest problem is that Chris Streams is now massively suffering from low camera angle syndrome. Too many shots are from below, which destroys any sense of perspective and is about the worst place to shoot from. Many of these shots are simply poorly framed or too tight, too, making me think that Robby D and some of the gang from New Sensations are spreading their gospel of porn mediocrity to more directors. I used to think more of Chris than this. Rose Monroe probably captures my attention the most, but she has the most ass for us, too. That said, this scene manages to be remarkably tame. It's mechanical, it's athletic, but there isn't anything close to chemistry. It's like energy, but in a working-on-the-factory-floor kind of way. The camera is okay for a lot of this one, but the light is massively high and everything in the background is white. Gets to be a bit much at times. Manuel is being particularly grabby again, too. The photo of Ashley Fires on the cover scares me a bit. That's really putting makeup on with a shotgun, that. I hate that. I feel like I can't even see her here. Somehow she's wearing her own skin as a costume. The tease bit is shot completely from the floor, which is horrible. It's everything that's wrong with this film all in one spot. She takes on two guys with her bit. It's just all stunt stuff, though. The alternating dicks for a blowjob, because that's doing something other than showing off
for the camera that there are, indeed, two guys here. Again, the chemistry isn't here. It's all mechanical action. And she moans at the same pitch throughout the whole thing. Anikka Albrite's scene is okay, but it isn't really anything special. That's the most dangly necklace I've seen in a porn flick in some time. Hers is if you like a bit more thigh and a bit less makeup than Ashley. And one less cock, too. So there's that. Anissa Kate manages to have an average scene here, and I think it's because she seems to have been contracted for only one facial expression. That one that's somewhere between alluring and in pain. She seems like she has checked out completely, and that makes the scene much less fun. What we get, then, is four scenes. I'm guessing it's because contracts for anal are that much higher. But the problem is that there's one less chance than with a traditional five-scene film to get a hit. For me, none of these four really hit, and that's more than a bit of a problem. I'm a devoted follower of this series, and I just can't much be bothered to hold on to this one. Technically, well, I think Chris Streams has done far better than this. I hope the technical imperfection in this one is down to disinterest rather than a future art direction. That would be a disaster. I'll still look forward to Ass Factor 7, but that's more because I'll want to see who is in it rather than having a great deal of faith in how it's made.
