I wonder if Kirby Stevens considered making this movie center on Joyce's family. In the end of the previous one Joyce's husband Greg and daughter Sherry had sex and Joyce was unaware of it but we learn she and Greg broke up. Maybe it could be revealed that Greg and Sherry are doing it, maybe there could have been a movie centering on that topic. In Taboo 4 dr. Lodge had sex with one of his daughters. In the next he had sex with his other daughter. Maybe they could have made a movie wherein Greg has anew girlfriend and Sherry doesn't approve of her and comes between them or Greg tries to stop having sex with Sherry.

In case anyone was curious whether Kay Parker's character regretted stimulating her biological son Paul with her vagina that she birthed him from to ejaculate semen viewers can find their answers in this fascinating film. It's true that it doesn't boast the same crystal-clear video or audio as today's flagship studio releases, but hey, my car didn't have GPS in the 80's either! They used the technology they had at the time, and then restored a film that was almost 25 years old.

What it does have is style, location shoots, and dare I say it - acting!

Lets face it - what gets people hot about the Taboo series is the sexual tension created via the gamut of emotions these characters go through - longing, desire, shame, arousal, guilt, etc. The premise isn't everyone's cup of tea, but for those that enjoy it, the acting is what makes it truly exciting, and these actors deliver the goods.

Don't get me wrong, buildup with out hot sex would be empty, and the sex in Taboo 3 is a good payoff to the buildup. In Taboo 1, Kay Parker seduces her son, Paul. In Taboo 2, Honey Wilder gets semi-seduced, (she didn't take a whole lot of convincing), by her son, Junior. In Taboo 3, both mothers are back with their sights set on their younger sons. My point is that if you enjoyed these scenes from the first two movies, you get a double dose of "mothers gone wild" in Taboo 3.

If the only sort of movie you enjoy requires the opening scene to cut to a 10-person gang bang in progress, with quadruple anal, you probably won't like Taboo 3. If, on the other hand, you enjoy a movie that "sets the stage" before the sex begins, with some of the greatest actresses from the golden age, pick up Taboo 3.

Every time I've sampled a selection from Metro's "Vintage Gold" series, I couldn't help but think that each one - like fine - just keeps getting better with age. This flick, however, is the exception to the rule. The box cover of "Taboo III" claims that "it delves deeper into the depths of raw passion than any other film." Upon watching this movie, I quickly learned not to believe everything you read. While there is a mother and child reunion of sorts that takes place between the main characters Barbara & Jimmy Scott (Kay Parker and Jerry Butler), their rendezvous is hardly raunchy. In fact, I've seen more invigorating sex scenes on Cinemax than I did on this disc.

Because it was filmed in the 1980s, I tried to respect my elders and give "Taboo III" the benefit of the doubt when I reviewed it. But the longer I watched it, the less slack I was willing to cut it. In my opinion, the smut, most of which involves quick blow jobs, poorly shot 69s, and other miscellaneous standard sex acts, isn't solid enough to warrant any of you loyal porn fans having to suffer through watching this flick in its entirety. Lucky for you - and unlucky for me - that's what I'm here for.

Our story begins with Barbara Scott lamenting over the disappearance of her eldest son Paul, with whom she's been having a secret affair. Soon, Paul calls his mother to tell her that he's run off to get away from the incestual relationship they've been sharing. Barbara begs Paul to come home, but he refuses. A distraught Barbara tells Paul that she'll make up some sort of excuse to tell his brother Jimmy as to why he won't be coming home any longer. If this all sounds like one big useless jumbled bore to you, well you ain't heard nothing yet! In fact, the loss of her oldest son/lover is only one of Barbara's problems. She's also jobless and horny as hell! She can't seem to find anyone who can satisfy her, so she ends up turning to the one man who's constantly available - her youngest son Jimmy. At first, Jimmy has no idea that he's desired by his mother. He's too busy working as a music producer and trying to get his rock band their first big break, while still finding some time to spend with his girlfriend Diane (Wendy O. Williams/Debbie Harry look-alike Lisa Lake).

The initial scene with Jimmy and the band discussing their next gig is a real hoot. I don't know what was more humorous - the band's "Kajagoogoo" hairdos, the "Flock Of Seagulls"/"Duran Duran" style outfits they wore, or the New Wave synth pop songs they played. If I didn't know better, I'd say Thomas Dolby scored this movie. Anyway, I was laughing so hard I almost missed this film's first sex scene. Some guy named Brian, who I believe is Jimmy's best friend and "right hand man" (Lucky for us, he's no relation to our "Right Hand Man."), ends up going backstage during a group rehearsal and getting a sloppy BJ from two groupies in a sauna. The girls hungrily suck on his member until he quickly cums in their mouths. By the way, check out the bushes on these babes. You just don't see hairy, unkempt beavers like that in today's pornos. (Not that I'd really want to, of course! Personally, I prefer a neat, trimmed twat.) Good thing Brian didn't return the oral sex favor, or else he'd have been picking hair out of his teeth for days! Apparently, the girls are hanging out with Brian in an attempt to help one of them (a chick named Jennifer) break into the music biz. Of course, she's willing to do whatever it takes to make her dream "cum" true, be it giving Brian a hummer or screwing Jimmy, who joins the party in the sauna after rehearsal is over. Jennifer starts out by giving Jimmy a rim job. Then, she takes a ride on his rod while her girlfriend seductively licks his fingers. Finally, Jennifer swallows Jimmy's shaft whole. Alas, the scene segues before we get to see the expected facial.

The next time we run into Jimmy he's back at home spying on his mother, who's getting changed in her bedroom. It's early on in this movie, but already you can see the sexual heat that exists between mother and son. Barbara doesn't admit it yet, but she definitely has eyes for Jimmy. And he's definitely hot for her. Her huge, all natural melons look quite inviting so I can't say that I blame him!
