Eh, Okay
I quite literally just finished writing my review for the brilliant Gambling, a lesbian film of the highest order. Now that I'm on to The Business of Women, well, I'ma admittedly somewhat concerned right out of the gate. It's the usual suspects of -on-the-couch lesbian porn, and it's trying to do a powerful relationship thing of some sort. Two red flags for me. I have a new affinity for lesbian porn, given some introspection on my own gender identity (I'm biologically male, in case you care), but I don't like the power relationship kind of stuff. And while it has nothing to do with her, I'm always worried when India Summer is in the film. Not that she's a poor performer. Far from it. But it seems that she's the dean of bad trope lesbian porn. For some reason. The box cover makes it look like a horror flick, no? So there's that. But really, it's a tremendously well-shot film. There's an artistry about it that isn't oppressive: it's not the kind of film where the director is trying so hard to direct that you can't tell if you're supposed to be aroused or not. And for me, Samantha Rone is the star of the show. I don't normally go for blondes, but I love that we get her sans makeup to start. She's gorgeous. She's accessible. And she performs really quite well. Then there's plot. Vegas things. It's shot more like hetero porn for sure, and I think somebody thinks too highly of their lighting skills, too. But at its core, The Business of Women really is a good film. It probably doesn't need two discs and it's trying to oversell itself, but it's still worth your while.
Fantastic
Fantastic
Great story line behind this film. Hottt!
We watch alot of porn I would say and my wife and I have both ,A wife's affair and The business of women. We are waiting for the next one in this series, I guess you would say. We absolutely love it! Both of them are our favorites because it actually has a good story line and it's just flat out hot! We need them to make another one!
kinky
girlsway does it again. great cast! love char
Promising yet Fatally Flawed
The camera work, sound, lighting, music, all the ambience was well done. Kudos to the producer. However the cast was from a New York 42 nd st. 1970's smut film. As the producer you knew what you were striving for and I for one appreciate that. Kylie, Lexi Belle, are two that come to mind that can act. Dyanna Lauren could handle either side of the leash quite handily. You have to follow through with quality performers for this endeavor to be a success.
