Debbie Does 'Em All 3

NuTech Digital has done an excellent job at preserving and presenting some classic pornos of the past on the DVD format. Their work on VISTA VALLEY P.T.A and THE MISTRESS highly impressed this reviewer, since those late seventies/early eighties films looked as good as new. If only NuTech could take over movies like GIRLS ON FIRE (which was given a horrendous transfer by VCX) and other mistreated classics, then the world (my world at least) would be a much happier place. However, not every video that NuTech releases is necessarily a classic, and in some cases, one wonders why and how they made their way to DVD in the first place. Such is the case with DEBBIE DOES 'EM ALL, PART 3 which is a piece of hackwork trying to cash in on the popularity of Barbara Dare. For those who don't know, this attractive brunette was known for her sexually dynamic scenes, and trademark climactic gasping. She and Ginger Lynn contributed a highly acclaimed lesbian scene in BLAME IT ON GINGER while both were signed on as Vivid Girls. Unfortunately, Ms. Dare only does two girl-girl scenes in this movie and nothing else (except for some mechanical masturbation) which really watered down any hopes I might have had for this lackluster video.

Surprisingly, NuTech's release of DEBBIE DOES 'EM ALL, PART 3 is only a little bit better than the original videotape. Certainly, it looks better than the videocassette, but the master source must have had dropouts and other artifacts galore which show up faithfully on disc. Admittedly, this movie comes from a time when shot-on-video features were the norm, so the look of this feature isn't at all an outrage.

Thin hardbody Carol Cummings has a lackluster opening scene with Don Fernando. The only interesting thing I can say about their affair is that we get to see the raw studio surroundings of their kitchen setting suck and fuck when the camera tries to capture Don's cumshot at an upturned angle. Much of their scene is shot in slow motion in an obvious attempt to pad out the running time of their scene, which is harshly lit and a waste of Carol's talents.

Blonde Alexis Storm has a bedroom romp with Burt Reynolds pseudo-lookalike (circa SMOKEY AND THE BANDIT) Sasha Gabor, which fares no better than the first scene. It doesn't help at all that neither performer is especially attractive, even for early eighties porn, and that the action is labored and boring. Things pick up a bit when Amber Lynn's real life brother, Buck Adams, hits on the very cute Tabatha Fox, who somehow combines Nina Alexander's good looks, with Gwen Summers' sex appeal employing a Traci Lords pout. Now, I'm not saying that she matches to any of these actresses even on a singular basis, but she is definitely the best thing about this movie. Her fair skin and large, all-natural chest makes her stand out among all the others in this video, and I enjoyed every minute she was on-screen. Unfortunately, her fellatio scenes are poorly photographed, and Buck's overacting presence is a definite distraction.

Covergirl and eighties superstar Barbara Dare finally shows up in the picture for a girl-girl with Carol Cummings, which is definitely the best scene in the video. But their mutual labia licking, pussy slamming and dildo ramming is hampered, once again, by poor lighting which is harsh to the point of unwatchable at times. Barbara appears again for a lesbian session with Alexis, which had a bit more kissing, but was less interesting than the previous scene. The movie ends Tabatha making a welcome return to take on Scott Irish and Brett in a threesome that is joined by Alexis. Barbara, in the meantime, merely sits by and masturbates (which is more than what I was doing) which is sure to disappoint any Dare fans who really wanted to see her in some boy-girl action. Lovely Tabatha is so alluring, that I almost had second thoughts about giving this video back to my editor since I have never previously seen her work in any other movie. But one cute chick in an otherwise below-average video is not enough for me to add this title to my collection, no matter how instantly enamored I may be of her.

As stated previously, the video quality surpasses the look of videotape, but that is about it. The sound is an accurate reproduction of the hollow soundtrack which cheap, shot-on-video features usually have. Offering a faithful reproduction of the original box cover, the DVD packaging horribly misspells Tabatha Fox's name as "Tabbethat Foxx" [proving that dyslexia cannot be cured by "Hooked On Phonics" courses]. The DVD extras include a series of trailers, a photo gallery, and attractive interactive menus which briefly preview classics like SUZE SUPERSTAR, a title which I wanted to pick up instantly after seeing a young Ginger Lynn doing what she does best.

Despite the "classic" label, I would have a hard-time recommending this DVD to even the most ardent Barbara Dare fans. I would look to her titles under the Vivid label if you really need a fix of porn's most popularly orgasmic "uh-huh, uh-huh!" girl.
