Score has a lot of potential to make great films, but a lot of that potential was with this one. Two out of three things they got right. One was the use of Blu-ray (yes, it was made in this format, not just DVD). Second was matching the performers to the particular genre. Third, and unfortunately, they fall short in technical details, i.e., camera work, directing performers, lighting, focus, etc. Filming in general is not smooth, steady, and the positions are not well thought out. It's as if they forgot that the show is for the viewer. But, everybody is different. If you, as the viewer, like when the performers face is out of focus with the rest of the body in focus, then maybe it's for you. If you like extreme close-ups of "certain parts" that seem to last forever then maybe you'll like this. Maybe you also like shadows in areas where one would think light should be. I recommend this title under two conditions: One is at a discounted price and two, that you have what is called an "A-B Replay" button on your disc player remote. You'll need that button to replay the moments that are actually usable (i.e., decent camera work that lasts anywhere from just under a minute to a few minutes per scene). Note: It seems that recent releases from Score are filmed by the
same guy, so other titles can have similar issues.
