Hard Evidence

Wicked is slowly, but surely, releasing all its old Jenna Jameson titles onto the digital format, and the latest entry is 1996's Hard Evidence, which co-stars Jeanna Fine. Unfortunately, this is one of Jenna's (and Jeanna's, for that matter) more average titles and will only be interesting to the most die-hard Jameson fans.

The movie borrows from both the mainstream movie, Basic Instinct, as well as a better made adult film, Anything That Moves, but is not able to live up to either of these superior titles in either sexual action or plot. Jeanna Fine plays the rich wife of murdered businessman (Mark Davis) who, naturally, is the prime suspect in his murder. The cops even have a tape of someone that looks like her at the scene of the crime...but these two cops are too stupid to view the entire tape before bringing in their suspect! The final minutes of the tape show who really did the murder...but I guess when you're a cop, you bust some heads first, and view the evidence later!

The officers in question are played by Anthony Crane and Vince Voyeur, and Vince definitely has the hots for Ms. Fine. But before he sees any action, we are treated to a few flashbacks, the first of which shows what an open marriage Jeanna had with her husband, as we get to watch her take on two other guys, played by Bobby Vitale and Peter North. As with most scenes with Peter in them, the reason to tune in is for his almost always healthy cumshots, and he blasts Jeanna's face with a pretty large dose at the end of this scene.

Further investigation by the officers leads to the office of Mike Horner, another suspect in the crime, whose secretary--played by Jenna Jameson--knows a lot more about the victim than she is letting on. We flashblack to a scene in a sex club that shows Jenna getting it on with the soon to be deceased Mark Davis and Channone while Mr. Horner and another gentleman (who I believe is Claudio) watch from across the room.

Back in the present, Vince finally gets his shot with Ms. Fine, volunteering to take her back to her home, and then banging her hard when he finally gets there. As with most of Jeanna's scenes, she's pretty verbal, and there's even some nice anal penetration here before Vince busts his load onto her pussy.

The next to last scene takes us back to Mike's office, where he gets it on with Missy in a so-so scene. It's funny how Missy actually looks less attractive here than I have seen her in more recent titles...maybe she was just having a bad day, but she neither looks attractive or sexy in this segment.

Finally, the killer is revealed (as if it wasn't easy to guess) and the story wraps up. But almost as an afterthought (or more likely, the filmmakers knowing they would get yelled at if they didn't include it), we get a lesbian coupling between Jenna and Jeanna. It starts out with some ice-cube foreplay, but mostly consists of oral and finger fun between the two girls. It isn't a particularly hot scene, but it's not a bad one either, and a nice way to wrap up an otherwise mediocre movie.

The features are a little on the slim side (at least by Wicked standards), offering two slide shows, four trailers and some of the other supplements you see on every Wicked DVD (audio biographies, company information, etc.). The video is extremely sharp on this disc, and the audio was above average as well...very nice considering at the time this movie was filmed, the DVD format was not a consideration for the filmmakers.

If you are a Jenna Jameson fan, I'm sure you'll want to pick up Hard Evidence on DVD. However, if you are more selective as to what Jenna titles you own, this one has to rate lower on the list of must-have Jenna movies.
