Say what you will about Wicked, but they never fail to bring together high production values and some of the most beautiful women in porn. Brad Armstrong in particular has a strong track record for making some of the most extravagant features in the business. With big budget movies like Flashpoint and Dream Quest under his belt, he has won the confidence of his financiers at Wicked while earning respect from critics and fans alike. Basically when it comes down to it, you can always count on Armstrong for high quality porn, and he keeps the winning streak alive with Infidelity.

In the movie, Herschel Savage plays a moderator of a support group focused on helping its members with their sexual compulsions. In most cases these compulsions lead to infidelity (hence the title) and other self destructive behaviors. With their chairs arranged in a circle, Herschel encourages the different members to participate by sharing their experiences with the group. Like in Cameron Grant's The Dinner Party, this discussion serves as the catalyst for the action as the movie dissolves into flashback sex scenes as each group member recounts their moment of weakness.

As the newest member of the group, Inari goes first explaining her near non-existent sex life with her older sugar daddy husband. This persuades her to answer personal ads for swinger couples. One such encounter leads her to a nasty encounter with Nick Manning and Kristal Summers. Nothing too remarkable about this scene, but it looks really good. Next, Sydnee Steele shares her curious desire to be showered with cum. This scene shows her taking on her boyfriend's band, consisting of Mark Davis, Cheyne Collins and Jason McCain. This could have been a great scene for a DP, but Sydnee stops short of granting any anal entry. But she does get her shower of cum at the end.

Devinn Lane plays a militant lesbian man-hater and shares her penchant for picking up married women at shopping malls in an attempt to "save" them from their husbands. Although her rhetoric is tough to swallow, her scene with Nikita Denise turns out to be one of the strongest in the movie. I especially liked the bath tub segment and the part where Devin pokes Nikita in the ass with her big strap-on. Apparently Devinn's tale made Brad Armstrong feel horny because he uses the group's ten minute break to exploit Sydnee's love of facials. The two discreetly crowd into a restroom where Sydnee sucks a decent load out of him; a great to-the-point blowjob scene.

When the group reconvenes, Bridgette Kerkove admits her ravenous sex drive is linked to her addiction to alcohol. Appropriately, her scene takes place in a bar where she gets worked over by Lee Stone. She does a great job sucking his big cock, and an even better job balancing on a bar stool while Lee excavates her oft penetrated asshole. The reason for the extreme close-up during the pop shot is because Brad Armstrong had to stand in for Lee; it must be hard being the director. Apparently Lee had to leave early on the day of the shoot.

Showing the group that he understands their difficulties, Herschel explains that he used to have a thing for prostitutes. During one such encounter he paid an up-scale restaurant to shut down while he had sex with Tina Cheri. What starts with some friendly play under the table turns into full throttle (missionary and doggy) sex on the table. Tina looks great lying back on the table while her enhanced boobs defy the rudimentary laws of physics. After some reverse cowgirl in a posh booth, Herschel blows his load on Tina's chin and boobs.

Following Herschel's confession, two other guys in the group (Joel Lawrence and Eric Price) feel more open to sharing their compulsions. This scene takes place on a rooftop (with a busy freeway visible in the background) as Joel shows Amber Michaels the finer points of exhibitionism. Despite shooting upwind, Joel does a fine job of coating Amber's face at the end. Meanwhile, Eric is a perfume man, in particular Florentine. When Inari speaks up, admitting that Florentine is her favorite, this sends Eric into his own fantasy. He imagines Inari spraying the fragrance on her neck and having sex with her in his office. Inari's cleaned up her saliva act considerably, but she still gives a great blow job. Listening to her squeak and hyperventilate while riding his cock is equally impressive.

The high production values of the feature are further reflected in the DVD; would we expect anything less from Wicked? The picture quality is crisp and vibrant throughout without so much as a pixel out of place. I thought the audio could have been mixed a bit higher (I had to really crank up the volume to hear the dialogue) but the overall presentation was more than adequate. Leading off the oodles of extras is a nice behind the scenes featurette that runs for about 18 minutes. It covers the shoot in chronological order and includes some short impromptu interviews with the cast and crew. The running commentary track (with Armstrong and Devinn Lane) is quite entertaining and informative; Devinn's a nasty girl! There's also a separate (but short) interview with Devinn Lane as well as three photo galleries and audio bios to round out the title specific extras. Other additions include a number of trailers, a company profile, and some web related links.

Infidelity is another piece of erotic eye candy from Brad Armstrong. The high production values and big-name talent are only half of the story; it's also well acted and performed by everyone involved. Those looking for hard edged wall to wall sex will undoubtedly be disappointed. But those looking for a good feature with credibly scripted characters and lavish production values will find plenty to admire here.

In the past, I've been a bit worried that the major adult studios would resort to re-releasing their massive backlogs of footage as material to beef up new DVD releases, leaving many of their titles with a stunted scene total and late eighties or early nineties hair styles. And while I may need to worry about a few of them for a little bit longer, Wicked put any concerns to rest with Infidelity, a title with so much in it it's almost sick.

The bonus features are rich, though some of them don't directly deal with the feature. And the Wicked Casino feature isn't of much use if you have a Macintosh, so that's a disappointment. But with bios (including audio), interviews, director's commentary, behind the scenes and the usual photo galleries, it's hard to go wrong. Add to this the seven scenes of action in the feature itself, and it's very hard to accuse Wicked of sandbagging it.

So we seem to be set in some sort of support group... don't bother too much with this, just get to the action. It's worth it. Inari Vachs, the lovely and talented, kicks things off. A host of prospectives fly by her door, then a stacked blonde and some guy get some work going with Inari. The girls take turns chowing on each other, the guy seeming to be there for moral support to start with. The focus is on the lesbian work, certainly. When they're done with each other, the pair of blondes start in on the guy. Is there anything better than getting head from two girls at the same time? Nothing comes to mind, and this guy isn't complaining any. We get down to some lengthy fucking, with a highlight being Inari sucking some cock in between strokes between the other two. Great stuff, great finisher, and only the first scene.

Sydnee Steele offers up her services for the second scene, taking on three band members at once in a night club. The major disappointment here was the lighting. I understand the need for a dark setting, but there are subtle ways of increasing the ambient light level while maintaining the film noir or jazz club darkness. They miss that point here, and that leaves about half of the action more difficult than average to see. It's a complete "A" for effort, though, as Sydnee's three way banging, replete with good head and hard fucking, ends in a triple facial. Don't accuse Wicked of going softcore with this... they've got it nailed. Great for the couples crowd with still a bit of harder action for other viewers.

The third scene is not only the cleanest from a technical standpoint, but it's also the dirtiest in action; and that's a good thing. Biker bitch Devinn Lane (she could pull off any persona and I'd love her) looks pissed at being at the meeting, clad in a white shirt, black leather jacket, jeans, a black hat flipped around, and some pigtails for a punky innocent look. Complete nipple protrusion as well. Her story is a girl on girl one, meeting up with another supple brunette on a staircase. This can sometimes be difficult, as you can lose action in the elevation changes. But Brad Armstrong and company pull through brilliantly, though the two hotties don't hurt matters. Devinn gets rimmed with one leg up on the railing. You can't see everything, but you can see most of it... it's enough. There's some work in the hot tub as well, and fans of dildos and strap-ons (especially anal strap-on work) won't be dissapointed, either. Well lit, well shot, and the best thing doing on this disc.

Bridgette Kerkove brings her big tits and big lips into the fray, adding a great anal touch to the film. There are others as well, with some less known girls getting in on the act.

Full points to the whole gang at Wicked, proving that the genre of hot features is not in any danger. There's nothing complacent about this feature, and while it isn't perfect, it is solidly built with speed to burn, much like the chicas themselves. Pick it up... there won't be any buyer's remorse.
