Paradise

Imagine an island resort where all of your wildest fantasies can be realized...and without having to deal with Ricardo Montalban! That's the premise of Paradise, a 1997 title from director Brad Armstrong and Wicked Pictures, and featuring everyone's favorite blonde, Jenna Jameson.

While a little light in the story-development department, Paradise more than makes up for it's lack of plot with some tasty sexual encounters. After a somewhat extended opening, in which all of the upcoming participants are introduced, we finally get down to the action, starting off with a hot threesome between Jenna, Peter North and T. T. Boy. Jenna shows that she certainly isn't shy about taking on some extra meat, as she willingly goes back and forth between taking both these guy's sizable tools. Jenna isn't shy about taking a facial, either, as both gentlemen explode healthy loads onto her face.

For those viewers looking for a little anal action, Mark Davis is on-hand to emcee the festivities in the second segment. He teams up with the busty Holly Body for some moderately wild action, giving Holly anal in both the reverse cowgirl and missionary positions.

Surprisingly, the weakest scene in the film is a three-way lesbian encounter between Jenna, Missy and Avalon. Most of the action is of the oral variety, although there is a fair share of finger-fucking, and a touch of toy play towards the end. However, try as they might, the rendezvous between the girls can never seem to make up its mind whether it wants to be passionate or downright nasty, so the performers split the difference...the result is a rather bland segment.

Fortunately, the heat is turned back on during a dinner table sequence with Kaitlyn Ashley, Nikki Lynn, Mickey G. and Jonathan Morgan. It's not really a foursome, as Jonathan primarily focuses on Nikki and Mickey devotes his attention to Kaitlyn, but there is a bit of coming together (no pun intended) towards the end, as Kaitlyn decides to lick Nikki's pussy as she is in the reverse cowgirl position with Jonathan...while Mickey G. is giving it to Kaityln doggy style, naturally!

Another so-so scene occurs when Johnni Black teams up with Steve Drake. Both have been giving Brad Armstrong and Jenna (respectively) massages, but when the two leave, Steve and Johnni decide that they need to use their skilled hands on each other. There is a little doggy style anal in this segment, and despite not being a great scene overall, the cumshot (which drips down onto, and into, Johnni's ass) is worth sticking around for.

The movie concludes with a wild orgy with Jenna, Missy, Holly, Mark and Brad. Jenna is the one to keep your eye on in this closing segment, as she not only looks great in a bluish-purple get-up, but closes out with an incredibly hard pounding from Mark's cock (while riding him cowgirl) near the end of the scene. All three of the girls gather together for a double blast of cum from Brad and Mark to finish up the fun.

Paradise comes most highly recommended to Jenna fans, who will get two really good segments featuring porn's current reigning queen. It's funny how Jenna always seems much more into guys than she does girls, even though she seems to do both just as frequently on-screen.

The video and audio here are above average, and the bonuses, while not extensive, do include two slide shows, promotional material, audio biographies and eight trailers for other Wicked DVDs.

Blonde babe Jenna Jameson stars in another Brad Armstrong classic; "Paradise". In this film, Jenna finds herself in an exotic land thriving with people who are dying to have all their sexual urges and desires fulfilled. A land where the wildest fantasies can come true. After seeing some of Jenna's other work such as Dangerous Tides as well as other films, I had high hopes for "Paradise". Not to mention, it was directed and filmed by Brad Armstrong--a director who has a reputation for making quality adult films and who also had a good long partnership working with Jenna Jameson in a variety of films. The women were beautiful and the sex was good, but there were a few things about Paradise that kind of let me down a little. Some of the picture quality as well as the sound quality at certain moments weren't the best. Now being this is an older 90s film, it's kind of understandable that that may happen with older films. However, I noticed it seemed at certain moments that the dialogue wasn't completely in sync with the film--I don't know if this possibly happened when transitioning the film from tape to DVD? Nonetheless, that was a little disappointing. And finally, although the scenes were good, I felt like they could've been longer and by the end of the film I was kind of left feeling like I wanted more.
For these reasons, I gave the film a 3.75 out of 5 stars.
