Decadent Divas 8

Though Briana Banks gets fourth billing on the DVD packaging of DECADENT DIVAS 8, her beautiful face and body is placed from and center on the cover of this all-girl video. While the other women are certainly attractive to one extent or another, it is Ms. Banks who gave me high hopes for this disc. Unfortunately, one disappointingly disjointed scene followed another, with no hope that the video would ever improve despite the enthusiastic performances from all the actresses. As a result, I can barely muster a recommendation for this video, and even die-hard fans may have a hard-time wanting to add this to their Briana Banks collection.

Bridgette Kerkove has sex with fellow blonde Eve, who can't help but be put to the test when paired with this sexual dynamo. Although their scene takes place outdoors, the lighting and camerawork are not quite up to par (but it's certainly better than the scenes that take place indoors). The segment looks dark and depressing, when it should be bright exciting. Certainly, Mr. Christopher has directed superb lesbian scenes in films like SISTER SNATCH and PUSSYMAN, but his work here seems a bit rushed and careless. I will say that he does allow the girls to engage in extensive kissing, but even that doesn't quite save the overall mediocrity.

Brunette Alex Foxe resembles a cross between Alicia Rio and Colleen Collins, and does a pretty nasty scene with red-haired Autumn Haze via a strap-on dildo. The piercings on Ms. Fox's labia seem to be more painful than erotic, but I guess that's my problem. Redhead Dominica Lenni shares a scene with dirty blonde Daisy Chain, which is raw and hard, and indulges in some foot fetish work before the pussy eating and clit-rubbing begins. As with the Briana Banks threesome, this segment is a bit underlit, with shadows obscuring some of the juicier parts of the action.

Speaking of which, Briana's ménage a twat with Lita Chase and Kiri is predictably the hottest of the bunch, thanks in large part to the number of busty blondes crowding the scene. Lita has a rather large tattoo on her right ass cheek which is more than a bit distracting, but when the girls engage in a three-way kiss, all the messy body ink is quickly forgotten.

The extras include a photo gallery, internet information (actually, the only info you get is the website's URL), and a passable Behind The Scenes featurette. There are also stills apparently taken from Bridgette and Eve's scene which do not appear in the video, having to do with a funnel and a straw strategically placed into Ms. Kerkove's ass. Why we weren't given this complete segment I have no idea, other than it's clear we've been cheated out of something that looked rather "interesting."

And as usual, Legend DVD fills their Star Biographies section with insulting comments, like in a picture of Kiri posing like a model, where the caption reads "Silly whore. Thinks she's Cindy Crawford." Yeah, that's really clever. One has to wonder what kind of disgruntled, computer nerd, sitting in Legend's DVD facility, is making up these un-witty barbs in a mean-spirited attempt to be hip or funny. Legend should know that you don't sell your products by making fun of your talent. Without a doubt, DECADENT DIVAS #8 is a generally competent collection of lesbian love, but the rather high skank factor of the other actresses and the poor lighting make this more of a Distracting Divas than decadent ones. I have to admit a great degree of partiality for anything Briana is in, but even she couldn't save this feature.
