Touched for the First Time

Evan Stone makes his debut as an adult director with Touched For The First Time, a title that was filmed back in 2000, but is being released for the very first time on DVD under the Simon Wolf logo. While not a great feature, Touched For the First Time is a pretty good one, and a solid first production for an adult star who proves he is worth much more to the industry than just a body for the female talent to get it on with.

The movie stars Asia Carrera as a woman who runs an art gallery and who seems to be constantly fantasizing about her co-workers and customers getting it on with each other. As the movie opens, Asia awakens to find Evan Stone banging away at her assistant, played by Mia Smiles. Mia gets it in the doggy and reverse cowgirl positions, but the scene is a fairly short one and there is no climax to the action.

The next morning, Dale DaBone arrives at the door and tells Asia that he would like her to take him on as a new student. Asia agrees, but she can't get Dale out of her mind - even fantasizing about blowing him while the two are having a conversation.

One of Asia's customers, played by Jessica Drake, has a delivery made to her home of a big metal figure with a huge (and I do mean huge!) tool. Jessica starts fantasizing and soon the figure is transformed into the form of Evan Stone, who comes over and gives it to Jessica hard. There's a great facial at the end of this scene that is easily the best in the film, and this coupling proved to be the one I enjoyed most in the movie.

Back at the art gallery, Asia spends another sexually frustrating night as she watches Dale get it on with Mia through a hole in the wall. The next day, Asia finds herself fantasizing some more - first about having a lesbian encounter with Sydnee Steele (which is Asia's most entertaining scene in the movie), and later about watching Wendy Divine get it on with Eric Masterson. Wendy and Eric's scene has a particularly erotic conclusion, as Eric stands on a scaffolding above Wendy and jerks his load down on her face and tits.

Finally, Asia gives into her lust and makes out with Dale. It's the last scene of the film, and unfortunately, the one that has the biggest problem, as we get a "faked" cumshot onto Asia's chest (poorly edited, to boot) that actually looks like someone dumped a load of paint onto her rather than a load of cum.

The last scene kind of hurts the overall picture, and caused me to deduct a point from the "film" rating for this movie. However, being that this movie is a couple of years old and Evan's first time behind the camera, the overall result is pretty decent. Evan seems to have a real knack for how to film sex scenes and there are several uses of crane shots in the movie that show ambition for not filming porn the same way everyone else in the industry does.

Also nice is the way Simon Wolf has packaged the DVD. Even though the movie was made back in 2000, they have inserted a brand-new segment with Evan where he answers some "viewer mail", as well as taken the behind the scenes footage from the shoot and given it a brand-new voice over narration by Evan Stone. The one thing I wished they would have done that they didn't was to have Evan do a feature-length commentary track...it would have been interesting to hear Evan talk about his first feature two years after the fact.

The video and audio isn't quite as sharp as other Simon Wolf DVDs (no doubt because the feature is a few years old), but it's still above average compared to most adult releases. Other bonus features on this DVD include a chapter selection, six previews and a photo gallery.
