Face Dance Obsession

Hoods, dealers and pimps make up just a portion of the character traits embodied in Face Dance Obsession. Yet another fine example of dark and demanding erotica, Buttman and company prove they know what it takes to get viewer's attention. This feature is an all-anal, all-out assault on the synchronicity of mind and body. Not for the impatient, nor for the timid, Face Dance Obsession takes dominance and submission to new levels with graphic interpretations of sexual strength and weakness alike.

Much like a Tarantino film, Face Dance Obsession offers no particular "good guy" characters. Rather, viewers are given a hefty dose of "anti-hero". All roles are that of seedy dudes and sultry chicks, all vying for power of some sort. The ladies use tactics of tease and allure, sometimes even tools-of-restraint to capture their prey. The men prefer less subtle strategy comprised of verbal threats, underhanded promises and physical harm to control their business commodities.

To state the obvious, Face Dance is a "feature": complete with a beginning, middle and end. Unlike other features though, this flick carries many characteristics of gonzo filmmaking. Although director Stagliano doesn't make his presence known, the camera follows the action with that unmistakable "in your face" attitude - as though you were in the room too. This film oozes with anal-frenzied fucking, mesmerizing photography and, of course, the obsession of face-dancing. That obsession is more than a sexual treat added as filler. Truly, it has an important place within this perverse tale of sexual power.

Nacho Vidal, a suave and focused trafficker, visits Prague for a large deal with club owner/pimp Hakan Serbes. The "private" club Hakan operates fronts for a distribution center, and, a small brothel. As we know, dope-slinging movie villains never have a "good" exchange - as the case is here.

Vidal offers Hakan-and-cronies an immense stash of the goods, but the boys are wary. In fact, using only her body language, Renata Rey shows the most notorious contempt for Nacho. Though never fully developed, it appears the Rey is both Amazonian bodyguard and, as we find out shortly, ass queen to Hakan. Now, things become a bit twisted. As Nacho falls for the allure of dancer/prostitute Daniella Rush, Hakan's devious demeanor really shines through, as if Daniella were possibly his main-squeeze. Hmmm... what's going on here?

The first sexual experience of Face Dance serves a dish of lesbian dominance. In a scantily decorated backroom, Renata Rey puts club-girls Daniella and Monica in line with tyrannically hot face-sitting and sphincter-stretching toy play. She is the boss, whether giving or receiving - that is the general idea and I'm convinced. Renata has a hard look, but it fits this role so well that erotic appeal shines through.

Not to be a total prick, Hakan decides to show Nacho some good faith by inviting him into yet another back room for a taste of Renata. Nacho, unaware this is a plot, graciously agrees. Once inside and the door closes, Hakan launches a surprise attack, wielding fists of fury on the much larger-build Nacho. Okay... the fight choreography isn't great, but the forthcoming sex is! Anyway, following the brief altercation, the men reconcile. But now... it's Renata's turn. Unleashing her now token face dancing fury, she literally begins suffocating Nacho with her hungry ass. Finally she lets up allowing Nacho a chance to tame her ravenous rectum. From here, a lengthy and gratuitous blowjob and ass fucking filled frenzy ensues. In the end, I'm still convinced that Renata Rey was in charge.

Common in Buttman films are simultaneous sex scenes. Prior to the cum-doused 2 on 1 finale, the initiation of another 2 on 1 materializes in the main bar area. George and Peter, two of Hakan's sordid patrons, follow Monica's pole-dancing tease very closely. One thing lead to another, giving way to a momentous double-penetration the luscious brunette feverishly enjoys.

In all this sexual and psychological drama, Nacho finds time to court Daniella. Brief moments of tender passion work their way into the dialogue, as Nacho is seeking a mate. Never very far from the action, Hakan shows up wondering why Nacho is hanging with his girl. Very little is made of the issue, but Hakan engages Nacho distraction. To remove the dealer from centering on Daniella, the sleazy club owner tempts Nacho with, again, Renata Rey and a new commodity - Lea DeMae. This particular orgy overflows with prominent "gaping" imagery and rapid-fire ass pummeling.

Love never fades...

Nacho isn't satisfied, though. His journey toward something more meaningful takes him to a beautiful Spanish-style home, where Daniella awaits. Mesmerized, even slightly , Nacho permits Danielle's pied piper tactics to lead him into a "bondage" room. Suddenly, with no segue, Nacho finds himself the recipient of restraint and face dancing.

Face Dance Obsession embodies just enough story and dialogue to smoothly flow from sex scene to sex scene, and further add some tense intrigue. The sex, as if I have to say it, is absolutely awesome. Though a relatively small cast, four women and four men, there is no monotony - another sign of good filmmaking. As for the cast in terms of sexual voracity and attractiveness... the women are exceedingly Euro-hot and the men are a welcomed dose of looks and ability too. Technically, this disc has plenty to offer, extra footage, bios, fetish menu, titled chapters, and so on. The video has that "soft" shot-on-film look, which adds to the aura, but the audio has some issues during dialogue sequences. I enthusiastically recommend Face Dance Obsession to any fan of Buttman, Euro, anal, and all-around hot bodies.
