Anal Furies

Anal Furies is a compilation reel of Private's slick hardcore style. It almost seems redundant that Private, the Spanish purveyor of European-flavored smut, would release a specialty compilation like this one when nearly all of the scenes in all of Private's videos center on anal sex anyway. As if to reinforce the stereotype that European women are much freer sexually than their American counterparts, Private's models can take just about anything in any orifice and usually smile delightfully while doing it for the camera.

As a whole, Private's strengths are presenting gorgeously slick porn with great packaging and, for the most part, a plot line that actually serves the sexual athletics. A compilation in that respect then would seem to cheapen a lot the hard work that went into creating the scenes originally, but there's still a lot to like, and, really, this one is all about showcasing these gorgeous girls at their carnal best.

Each scene is introduced by a graphics set with images of the female star and her name. As the scene unfolds, a narrator sets up the scenario which, in all brevity, leads immediately to the sex. Isn't that really the purpose of any compilation anyway? In any case, it's a nice little addition that these now-disjointed scenes are given some kind of new life and new context.

Judith Key is a very accommodating host in a little cabin in the Italian Alps. After a day of skiing and a quick round of hot cider, this sweet little blonde seduces both her male companions right on the kitchen table. All the attention goes to her rear end before a final pop to chase the cider.

From the icy Alps to the sunny Caribbean, Yann Scott has it too good: sunshine, perfectly blue waters, a drink in his hand and, out of nowhere, two gorgeous Amazons, Inga and Patricia Smet. Both of these ladies have near-perfect supermodel figures covered in olive, sunkissed skin and topped by jet black hair. Any more perfect and it would be a tourism poster for the tropics. Inga sees most of the sexual action here with Patricia observing most of the shenanigans but not before taking Yann for a test ride herself. The only shortcoming to this scene is, in fact, that it's too short. But enjoy it while you can, these two ladies are great sexual creatures with a cool, laid-back island attitude.

Laureen Kiss may well be the hardest working woman on the Private porn scene. She's not a breakout star like others before her, but she's almost always guaranteed to turn in a hot, uninhibited scene. She rarely goes on the cover of a video box, but it's statistically likely that she'll turn up in just about any Private title of the last two years. In this video, the editors have chosen a fourway in which she struts her stuff alongside Maria and two studs. The action takes place in a luxurious, classically decorated apartment and the sex is a ploy to get a good deal from the broker. It must have worked. There's no way with Laureen's lovely face and body that they didn't sign on the dotted line.

More group sex follows as brunette Claudia and blonde Sandra Russo take on a roomful of five guys. This set up couldn't be easier: one of the men, Robert, apparently promised delivery of a could of hot girls to "get the party started." He succeeds with these two, and he must have succeeded in ending the party as well since by the end of the scene it doesn't look like anyone has any more energy for a second round.

Michelle is the centerpiece of the next scene. She's a leggy blonde with supermodel looks (where does Private find them?!), and she entertains her two male companions on top of a grassy hill overlooking a Mediterranean town. It must have been cool while shooting, but the three take no time in dispatching their heavy autumn clothes to get closer. Next up, Elizabeth and Kelly White demonstrate what bored country bumpkins do when there's nothing exciting happening in their rural part of the world. Farmer John lends a hand to make this scenic threeway pop. Anne Joy rounds out the package with a somewhat-standard poolside tryst. Note here for fans of the natural look, Anne doesn't trim down below as much as the other vixens in this video.

As usual with Private DVD releases, the bonus material is here in spades, all navigable in a set of fluid graphics that give the best designers a run for their money. Conspicuously missing though is the often-entertaining behind-the-scenes video that comes standard with all of their main features. Nevertheless, there are cast bios, a still gallery and multiple trailers. The very best feature here, however, is the production notes. Each scene in this video is broken down and listed by actors, director, original production title, shooting date and shooting location. Not only is this a godsend of valuable information for any viewer whose curiosity is piqued by the images in these scenes, it is a perfect model for the kind of attention to detail other DVD producers should take into account when tweaking their own titles. It would all be too perfect if the production notes hadn't been out of order of the scenes in the video, but they are easy enough to figure out. Private has a way with adult videos, and they definitely have a way with anal sex. This DVD is the proof.
