Private Life of Monique Covet, The

For anyone who has dealt with Private before, you know that they are international pornos (with copyright information in about 15 languages!) that are very well designed, and very classy. This particular Private disc features Monique Covet, a sexy European blond.

The first scene brings us to a Private photo shoot. I had always thought that during X-rated photo shoots, the participants actually fucked, and the photographer just caught them in action. This is apparently not the case. It was rather bizarre watching Monique getting double penetrated, but everyone remaining absolutely still, making faces like they were fucking. The only time they moved was when the guy was cumming. Two seconds after he came however, he had to put his dick beside her mouth, and everyone got still again. I can't get over how odd that seems to me.

The next scene was pretty cool. Monique was in Australia, and they apparently rented a boat to film a scene on. Right in the middle of this harbor/lake/whatever, she was giving this guy a blowjob. Finally they headed inside to the cabin to fuck. She was really into it. In fact, I had to turn the sound down or else my entire building would be clued in to me watching porno. It's the sort of slow, romantic stuff that is stereotypical of "couples porn". I think in this scene, the voice track is dubbed in. It's subtley done, but a bit silly. This is a long scene, by porn standards. Even at it's slow pace, the threesome manages to do just about everything three people could do. Finally the guy cums on both their faces. No spitters here, and about a minute worth of "aftermath" with the girls kissing and licking after the fact.

The next scene is supposedly Monique's favorite scene. It's a domination scene, where she and another girl dominate a guy. There are a lot of filters and strange angles in this scene Monique uses a strap-on on both the girl and the guy. Ick. I prefer to fuck, not to be fucked. This DVD came with a second disc, with 8 extra scenes, and several photoshoots. It was the most bonus material I've ever seen on an adult DVD. Most of the extra clips were also domination scenes, which is obviously Monique's favorite.

Sound quality on this feature is excellent, and there are choices for multiple languages and subtitles. Most of the video was shot on film, so you get nice crystal clear images.

All in all, this was a very high quality DVD. Obviously Private takes it porn very seriously. The whole disc played a lot like an episode of MTV Diary, but with a lot of porn cut in between.

For those of you who like domination, this is the disc for you. Monique dresses up in all the leather outfits, she uses strap ons, she dominates men and women alike. For those of you who don't like domination, this is not the disc for you. Past the first two or three scenes, you're going to have a hard time finding content you're going to enjoy.

Like any "Empire" customer I have noticed the huge increase of compilation titles, devoted to the studio's stars. They sell well because they are a great idea. We get to see more of our favorite girls, and they can make a large profit off of previously shot footage.

That said, this compilation delivers some serious bang for you buck. It is a two disc set with fifteen sex scenes, all with Monique. That's right I said fifteen. Six of those scenes are from her various Tanya Hyde movies.

For me, being a huge fan of Covet, the interview footage was possibly the best part. Hearing her talk dirty in that Hungarian accent to the camera man was a real treat.

My favorite extra was the photo gallery, which is the best I have seen on a DVD. I won't go in to the details of each scene since rdoyle's Empire Review is very good.

So if you are a fan of Mrs. Covet, then you can not go wrong. The only reason I would not recommend this title is if you already own all of her Tanya Hyde discs.
