Curse of the Catwoman

I remember having an old porn magazine as a teenager that featured Selena Steele. Up to this point though, I had never seen her in action. I'm sorry I waited this long.

But, we should start at the beginning. If you watch this film, you're probably going to dislike the storyline. Here's the basic idea though....there are a bunch of "cats"-men and women. What do they do? They fuck anyone they can find in the nightclub where the whole movie takes place? Why? You got me, but it's fun to watch.

Anyway, these cats are waiting for the supreme cat, who is supposedly their leader, but with the addition of this new girl (Selena) her authority becomes questioned. Five minutes after her arrival, without much dialogue, she falls in love with the first guy she talks to. Wish I could pick up women that easily.

Then there's a lot more fucking, she takes over the "pride" and gets rid of the old leader, ditching her love. Why? Once again, you got me.

That being said, there's a lot of hot scenes in this movie. Fucking in the middle of a dance club is some pretty hot stuff. Scenes to see here....the first fuck scene in the alley behind the club, the scene where Selena devours the cock of the guy who's fucking a girl in her bed....heck, watch all the Selena scenes. Just about every girl in this movie is really hot. The only scene I would recommend skipping is the circle jerk. Who wants to see a guy bend over and try to lick his own penis? It just looks dumb.

Audio and video quality on this flick were good. No complaints. The special features did leave a bit to be desired. Adult studios really should put some money into their features, owning the DVD version should feel like owning the whole feature, from production to other features. As it stands however the features consist of a few still screens, a chapter menu and a cast menu, which just jumps you to the scenes in the chapter menu. Big whoop.

In the end I gotta give this disc my seal of approval. Don't watch it for the story, but you'll get plenty of banging for your buck!

I rented this movie for date night and my wife begged me to buy it. Selina Steele is very hot, sexy, and steamy. The storyline is kind of cheesy but the hot fucking makes up for it. There is a variety of of sex; threesomes, masturbation, and group action. The movies is well filmed and the women are gorgeous. My wife was wet and masturbated the entire movie. The scene where the chick masturbates in front of a group of guys that are masturbating watching her is very hot. I highly recommend this movie if you enjoy raw, hot, torrid fucking. This is an excellent movie to show during a sex party/orgy.

Classic porn. Has a story line, hot cast and was filmed well.

VCA Video continues to excel in releasing classics from the Eighties and Nineties in the DVD format. Unlike Vivid Video, VCA releases their classics in complete, totally comprehensive form. VCA is gaining the reputation as the Class Act in Adult DVD. In addition, this DVD (like most of the VCA product) have easy to use, fine-the-scenes-with-your-favorite-actress hot buttons; so, you just go to, say, Ashley Nicole's name in the cast listings, press the button, and up pops her scene.

"The Curse of the Catwoman", directed by Eighties porn stud John Leslie is one of his two best directorial efforts (the other being "Chameleons").

With a stellar cast that includes Selena Steele, Zara Whites, Racquel Darrien, Ashley Nicole, Raven and Patricia Kennedy (all of whom, with the exception of Racquel, have retired)Leslie fashions an intriguing story with super hot sex scenes. Like "Chameleons" "Catwoman" involves a group of animal-like, hyper-sexuals who engage in sex with each other; sometimes in front of outsiders--just like pornstars. Occasionally these hyper-sexuals have sex outside the group--but, the outsider is always rejected in the end. Thus, Leslie is possibly warning porn fans that it's not good to get too close to their pornstar idols.

But enough of the clever storyline (written by Leslie). There are standout sex scenes aplenty. Most memorable is the Steele/Rocco Siffredi encounter, with Patricia Kennedy in bed besides them looking on. It's explosive! During Steele's career, the word was that she did not have an off-camera sex life. Thus, all of her sexual energy was played out in her video scenes. Her work with Rocco (and to a lesser extent, with Mark Wallice) gives credence to this rumor. Almost as impressive is the Ashley Nicole scene with Rocco: where she, as an outsider, is taken by the hyper-sexual Rocco (while Jamie Gillis is given a hand job by Raven). This was Ashley's first sexvid, and she makes quite an impression. Whether giving Rocco head, doing a stand-up (leg over his shoulder) missionary or her stand-up doggy, she's great. Other scenes of note are the Racquel/Derrick Lane coupling, the Zara Whites tease/circle jerk, and the Steele/Tom Byron scene at the end. (It should also be noted that with the exception of the HIV-positive Wallice, all of the male performers are still in the business.)

As noted above, this DVD release demonstrates a respect for the classic porn of the late Eighties that won over a new, upscale clentele--before the sleazy elements took over the industry in the Nineties, and made rough sex and misogynism the name of the game. Sexvids like "Catwoman" represent the first part of the Boogie Nights era. They are the classics. I highly recommend it.

Unfortunately, this DVD version of CURSE OF THE CATWOMAN deletes the three-way scene with former actress Alexandria Quinn. Otherwise, this would be a five star movie all the way. A sequel of sorts to John Leslie's classic THE CATWOMAN [also available on DVD], this movie is populated with the greatest porn actresses of the eighties, including: Selena Steele, Racquel Darrian, Raven, Zara Whites and Patricia Kennedy. The crystal clear shot-on-video look of the movie and the unusual day-glo settings make this a modern-day classic.

The story involves an underground society of cat people who apparently like to have sex a lot. At one point, the incredibly sexy Selena Steele undergoes an Incredible Hulk-like transformation into a "cat" [this was the use of computer generated effects]. She rips off her blue dress with abandon and thrashes about a bed in a scene sexier than most stripteases filmed for porno.
Raven plays her sister, and her tall, slender figure makes for a commanding presence. Zara White is decked out in a tight white dress which shows up her superb ass and firm body, and she is the center of attention in some weird circle jerk [including some guy performing a --- let's just say "unusual" --- act while she crawls all around the floor], but unfortunately does not engage in any sex.

But it is Selena who "Steeles" the show. Dressed up in tight outfits, high heels, and strutting around like she is the hottest woman on earth [which she may very well be], she performs her sex scenes with gusto. Her blowjobs are unbelieveably sensual; she literally throws her whole body with each bob. There is a scene where she gets fucked while sitting on a bar stool by Randy Spears, her legs up in the air, and her tits just spilling out of her dress as the camera goes from a close-up of her face, to a long shot of their bodies bucking back and forth, to a quick close-up of them fucking like an engine piston which will have the viewer finally making use of the repeat A-B button on their player.

Despite the loss of Alexandria Quinn's scene, this DVD is a must-have.
