When I bought my first DVD player a few years ago, Rocco Ravishes Prague was at the top of my "must buy" list. Unfortunately, it wasn't available at the time, me to stick with the video tape whenever I needed to get my voyeuristic fix of anal depravity. But now Evil Angel has finally released the DVD version, and I'm happy to see that the content still lives up to my expectations. Shot in 1998, this title captures Rocco at the top of his game as he trolls Prague for the hottest Euro-talent. In fact, the disc even opens with a casting session before the first scene gets under way.

It's Rocco's birthday and Katty (a slender blonde), Rebecca Ramada (a long haired brunette), and Nell (a big boobed redhead) have a little surprise in store. First of all, the picture quality is about the same as the rest of Rocco's DVDs, with a fair amount of grain and washed out colors. Still, it looks about the same as the VHS. But unlike the video tape, this one suffers from a few compression artifacts that pop up every now and then; mostly noticeable in the early minutes. The audio isn't spectacular, but it's more than adequate for this type of disc. I was really hoping for some bonus footage, but all that's offered in the way of extras are a photo gallery, cast list, cast filmographies, the fetish menu, and a Rocco bio.

Although it would have been nice to see this title get the "Special Edition" treatment, it's still good to have it on DVD. The strong content far outweighs any limitations of the disc, making it a must have for Rocco fans and anyone looking for an intense hardcore expereince.
