Beautiful (Wicked)

Michael Raven has taken the classic Snow White story and given it a 1930's film noir twist in Beautiful, a great new DVD from Wicked Pictures that fans will want to make sure to add to their adult shelves.

For starters, the disc is loaded with the kind of bonus features we've come to expect from Wicked. Included are a director's commentary track with Michael Raven, Julia Ann and Stormy, plus an over 30-minute behind-the-scenes featurette on the making of the movie. Also included are separate interviews with Julia Ann, Stormy and Devinn Lane; plus a number of slide shows, cast bios, trailers and more. There's even at least one hidden "Easter Egg" I was able to uncover (Hint: Look on the Audio Setup page).

From a technical standpoint, the audio/video quality is also top-notch. The movie was shot on anamorphic high definition cameras; and while (sadly) Wicked chose not to give the DVD itself an anamorphic transfer, the film is presented letterboxed and still looks very, very sharp. The audio is presented in 5.1 Dolby Sound and ranks among the best sounding DVD titles I have watched to date.

As for the story, Raven's choice to set the film in the 1930's was a great move. The period costumes that the actors wear and the visuals are just stunning; and seeing the characters move around and spout out dialogue as if they were in a Raymond Chander novel was a real treat to watch.

Stormy plays a young girl by the name of Sondra White who works at a mirror company for the evil Ellen Queen (Julia Ann). Queen is looking to cut a major deal (and get romantically involved with) Eric Prince (Brad Armstrong), a major businessman in the area.

As the movie opens, Stormy has just broken up with her last boyfriend (is that porn star Barrett Blade in all those broken photos?!) her co-worker (Devinn Lane) convinces Stormy to join her at Club 7 (a sly reference to the dwarfs of the original tale) that night so she can pick up a guy and get laid. Devinn, on the other hand, isn't waiting for her sexual encounter - as she goes home and (with Stormy listening in the other room) gets it on with Joey Ray on her bed.

Later at the club, Stormy accidentally spills some of her drink on Brad - who is also at the club, meeting with Julia about their new business partnership. The next day at work, Stormy does the same thing again, spilling some coffee on Brad, and when Julia notices the spark between the two, she becomes determined to get rid of Stormy...any way she can!

When Stormy goes home that night, she has an erotic dream (although it's a nightmare for Stormy!) about Julia totally dominating her in a sexual tryst. Stormy is to lick out Julia, and then Julia puts on a pink strap-on and fucks Stormy reverse cowgirl and doggy style.

Julia decides that she is going to have to kill Stormy to get her out of the way, so she calls up "Woodman" (Steven St. Croix) to do the job. He plans to take her to back to Club 7, her with some "Poison Apple" drink and then dispose of the body later. While at the club, there's a montage of brief sex encounters that includes Ashley Long getting a facial from Randy Spears, and Olivia Del Rio jerking off Dale DaBone into the face of Natalia Wood.

Steven takes her to an abandoned building somewhere, and as Stormy is coming to (she's a bit out of it, thanks to being ), she gets to watch Steven getting it on with Kaylani Lei. Steven takes Stormy out to the middle of nowhere - where he plans to shoot her and dispose of the body - but he is so taken by Stormy's beauty, that he can't bring himself to kill her. After Steven leaves, Brad (who has been following them) rescues Stormy and takes her back to his place, where they contact the police about Julia and then share a romantic fireside coupling.

Before the cops find Julia, she gets to have one last sexual encounter with "slave" Eric Masterson. Julia is decked-out in a black latex dominatrix outfit, and Eric to submit to her every whim - proving that it's sometimes good to be bad! Eric gives her oral and then rims Julia's ass a bit with his tougue. He then penetrates her in the reverse cowgirl and standing doggy positions, and then Julia stretches out one of her legs and makes Eric pop his load onto her foot.

The cops bust into the place and find Julia (look for a cameo by co-writer George Kaplan as one of the police detectives) - who is so taken aback by the fact that Stormy is still alive, that she finally seems to let go of whatever sanity remains. Then, arm in arm, Stormy and Brad leave Julia behind and walk out into the moonlit night together...

...And they lived happily ever after!

Story was excellent and the sex scenes well done. The women are beautiful and the '30's theme is played out well. Devinn Lane steals the movie with her acting and agressive sex. Julia Ann is fantastic but creepy as the "queen". Stormy (a personal fav) has a great scene with Julia Ann but seemed lost otherwise.

Couple odd notes - Brad Armstrong is driving a 2000 T-Bird in 1930???? Not sure what purpose the Club 7 sex scenes serves when Stormy and St. Croix are dancing.

Recommend this movie as a good couples flick.

Excellent flick from all perspectives. Great photograghy, interesting/exhilarating story, with hot performers and scenes.
