When I reviewed Rocco's True Anal Stories 15 a few months ago, I accounted for the somewhat lackluster content as a simple anomaly. Hey, even Rocco can have an off day. But after watching this past edition I'm beginning to notice a trend. Compared to the earlier volumes in the series, Rocco has noticeably pulled back, seemingly reserving his hardest stuff for the Animal Trainer series. There's still plenty of good stuff here, but for a True Anal Stories title, the lack of anal can be a bit disappointing.

In the opener, blonde and petite Lucy arrives at a picturesque ranch. While she walks toward some stables the camera follows from behind as her perfect ass cheeks peek out the bottom of her very tight black shorts. When she can't find Nacho, she decides to wait for him in a nearby stable where she masturbates while a bewildered horse looks on. I've never been too fond of the way Rocco's movies look on DVD, but this one took me by surprise. Usually Rocco's discs look pretty grainy and washed out, but the picture quality on this one is very crisp with only some slight pixelation. The audio sounds better than some, but is still mixed a little low, making dialogue difficult to hear without cranking the volume way up. I was disappointed to find no bonus footage on this disc at all; I even checked twice. No doubt I've been spoiled by other recent Evil Angel releases. But there are the other usual extras including the fetish menu, cast list, filmographies, a photo gallery and Rocco's bio.

Compared to Rocco classics and other recent releases (such as Rocco Super Moto Hard), True Anal Stories 12 lacks the intensity, spontaneity, and overall anal nastiness fans expect from the Italian Stallion. With that said, there's still plenty of good hardcore sex to admire as long as you don't expect an overwhelming amount of anal.
