Black in the Saddle Again

High expectations are not always the best to have, especially when it comes to movies. In this case of course, a porn movie. Those expectations can often be crushed, or at the very least, peppered with disappointment. Yes... this is unfortunately the case with Black in the Saddle Again. There are absolutely some high points strewn throughout the production, but in an overall capacity, this flick produced very few sexual highs.

First and foremost, the cast of female performers ranged in attractiveness from very hot to not-so-hot. Depending on one's own tastes, some might be considered rather forgettable. Harsh, but like any other visual medium, the perceived aesthetic appeal depends heavily on the collective looks of all elements. In a porno, one would logically expect some construct of beauty and sexual arousal emanating from the cast, considering it is a fantasy setting for just that purpose - arousal. Zero Tolerance generally creates a pretty good product. Therefore, consider this one a rare diversion into mediocrity.

To the subject of "positive" elements in Back in the Saddle Again, anal sex is indeed abound in all six chapters. With that, six chapters in a film is a good bit, but that doesn't always equate quality of course. Nevertheless, also thrown in for good measure are several juicy moments of ass-to-mouth lubing, and deep spurting oral cumshots, even one instance of savory swallowing action.

Sharon Wild starts things off with a brief discussion with director Fletcher. Typical diatribe, all too often found in gonzo films, consisting habitually of pointless questions and depthless answers leaves much to be desired. But then Brian Pumper enters the frame, giving Sharon a deep thrusting doggy bang. This activity is followed by some oral sex, a series of standard fuck moves, and eventually develops into some ass boning. Not too shabby, but the performer's chemistry was nonexistent, thus hurting the scenarios "believability" factor.

Nomi, now here's a hottie, plays it up perhaps a little too dramatic for her interview and subsequent sex scene. A blowjob is quickly administered to an unknown assailant, we only see his cock for most of this sequence. Doggy style screwing turns into a reverse cowgirl ride for Nomi. A decent segue from standard reverse to anal reverse is a nice touch. A2m, a hard mish thrusting, and final jizz slurp closes the chapter.

Scarlett performs in a slightly more "gentle" scene. Once her partner shows up, the sex unfolds at a slower pace. This is actually a good thing, and it almost makes up for the distraction caused by her relentless need to look up at the camera every couple minutes. Again, a fair amount of anal sex mixed with oral and vaginal.

Now for the moment many may be waiting for... Katja Kassin. Although the box cover photo is not the most flattering, rest assured she looks as good as ever during her scene. The fiery redhead sports that bodacious booty as one expects. Although her game face is on here, as with most of her work, this pairing with Julian St. Jox is only moderately hot. It's difficult not to compare this against her other performances in far better settings.

The fifth chapter stars Kami, and co-stars a busy little butt plug. This early moment of self pleasuring far outshines the action that ensues when her partner comes into play. This critique is based on the fact that; a toy finally being introduced was a good move, but the physical appeal and sexual chemistry fall very flat.

The closing scene features the film's only two on one performance. Sure a double-penetration is usually a welcomed act in an all-anal themed film, but this chapter was frankly damn hard to sit through. Again, the look and feel was all but tiring.

Here's a recap of the pluses. Lots of anal sex is a consistency in Black in the Saddle Again. There are some memorable moments of intense sexuality, albeit just a few. Previously unmentioned goodies include kudos for good photography and visual clarity of the disc, a decent menu, and although it's just a loop, the funky rhythms are fitting.

Now for the not-so-goods of Black in the Saddle Again. Honestly, the cast of performers was not up to par. The sexuality left an equal amount to be desired as well. This piece also lends itself to the dark side of gonzo's stereotype - uncreative and overdone q and a's that really don't serve any purpose. And although this isn't a point-of-view film, we barely see the men beyond their cocks. One last personally irritating note, and not only with regard to this film, is the marketing of "interracial sex". The box blurb does an admirable job of letting viewers know exactly what variety of "interracial" sex lurks inside, but the photographic style used here (the anonymous cocksmen syndrome) doesn't exactly provide fans with the "whole" picture. So, essentially speaking, this is yet another reason to perhaps seek your interracial sex fix elsewhere. There are plenty of good, all-inclusive, ethnic mix flicks out there to choose from.
