E-Love Wanted

When I first heard the premise of Simon Wolf's new feature, E-Love Wanted, I thought it would be an examination of how one can't find true love over the Internet...but actually the movie is quite the opposite, as two lonely hearts find each other in what proves to be a romantic - and often funny - adult feature.

Ginny (played by newcomer Natalia Wood) is involved in a relationship with Jeremy (Steve Holmes) - but little does she know that he has been cheating on her with performer Fallon Sommers. Following a scene where Steve and Fallon get it on, it's Fallon who finds a picture of Natalia in Steve's wallet and gives her a call to let her know that their man has been two-timing both of them.

Meanwhile, we are also introduced to a college professor played by Joey Ray, who is so desperately single himself that one of his students (played by Tanya James) actually offers up her body to him (damn, I knew I should have taught college!) because he seems so lonely. Joey declines, but that doesn't stop Tanya from putting his name and picture on an online personals site to see if she can find him a date. The catch here is that Tayna lists all these things about Joey that aren't true, but they are the kind of things she thinks every woman must be looking for in a man (rugged outdoorsman, mountain climber, etc.).

Natalia's roommate, played by Elizabeth Lawrence, does the same thing for her - also stating that Natalia is quite the outdoors type...even though she is just as introverted and bookish as Joey's character is. Natalia and Joey get together on a date, which results in the most humorous bits of the movie, as we get to hear what both characters are thinking about one another, and watch as they both wind up getting lost in the woods...only being there, of course, because they think that the other person loves being in the outdoors!

While this plot is unfolding, we do get treated to a number of additional sexual trysts, including two outdoors sex scenes (one between Tanya James and Tony Pounds, and the other between Elizabeth Lawrence and Evan Stone), plus an indoors lesbian coupling between blondes Alexis Malone and Betty Sue. Late in the movie, we also get to watch a quite enjoyable pairing between the very cute Haley and Dillion Day.

You don't get any bonus points for guessing that Natalia and Joey share this movie's final sex scene. But what may surprise you is how romantically it has been filmed by director Bud Lee. In most adult movies, there's a casualness about sex that doesn't result in any real chemistry between the actors - but here we get a genuinely erotic encounter, one that is slow and passionate, and one that should really appeal to couples and single women who may check out this title.

The video quality of this DVD is top-notch, and the audio is well-done, although the dialogue is a bit lower than the rest of the soundtrack. As for bonus material, the DVD offers a short behind the scenes segment (about 3 minutes), a nice interview with Natalia (in which she talks about this film and is even allowed to plug a movie from another studio...so kudos to Simon Wolf for letting her do so), a photo gallery, five trailers for other Simon Wolf DVDs, and a bonus scene from Naughty Bedtime Stories (with Violet Blue and Evan Stone).

And in case you're wondering, the personals website featured in this movie is an actual website that Simon Wolf has set up to promote the film (you can catch the trailer and behind the scenes material their for free, if you wish). Those looking for an actual personals site will have to look elsewhere for now...although it might have been cool if Simon Wolf had set up an actual personals site for fans who watched the movie.

This is one of the few Simon Wolf features that doesn't delve into the supernatural in some way, but it's still an enjoyable piece of adult filmmaking. I really enjoyed watching Natalia Wood, and I'm looking forward to her future adult appearances.
