Madness

Director Pierre Woodman delivers yet another stunning and entertainingly visual film. The man responsible for the extraordinary Tower film trilogy takes his filmmaking abilities to new levels in Madness. Much like The Tower trilogy, Pierre Woodman returns to his epic filmmaking style. Woodman, by composing such large stories has difficulties containing the story within a single film. Madness is the first of a two part series; this first film runs two hours and fifty minutes.

The plot of Madness is centered on the relationship between Bill Taylor played by Pascal St. James and Sheryl played by Melody Kord. Their relationship is a long and strange one. Bill is a successful businessman with a wife and daughter, and although Bill is constantly having sex outside his marriage, his life is perfect in every way. That is, until the day he encounters Sheryl. Bill's life comes to a sudden stop; Sheryl is Bill's ex-girlfriend. Sheryl is not the normal jilted lover but a woman who Bill had placed in a mental institution. Sheryl's tale of torture and pain at the hands of doctors and hospital personal lead Bill to believe that Sheryl should still be institutionalized. But Sheryl is one step ahead, playing a sadistic and deceitful game luring Bill into her deadly web.

The cast of Madness is made up of international stars and shot on location in some of the most beautiful places in Mexico. Pierre Woodman is a highly talented director and his shot compositions are perhaps the finest in the adult film world. Like so many features produced outside of the United States, this film has a European perspective and feel to it. Like most Euro porn, this film has a heavy amount of anal action as well as a gratuitous amount of facial cumshots. Beautiful girls and beautiful locations help keep this well paced feature moving.

In the films most entertaining scene, Sheryl (Melody Kord) is telling of how she was brought into the hospital for the first time and what and whom she encountered. After being stripped down by two nurses played by Suzan Strong and Zita Bernstred, she is to watch her Doctor (Franco Rocco Forte) have his way with another patient played by Sylvie Raz. Franco's interaction with Sylvie Raz is quite humorous and intense; while she is caged like an animal he taunts her with his cock until he finally places into her mouth. After receiving a caged blowjob he has the two nurses place Sylvie in a straightjacket so he can have his way with her. After some prodding from his nurses he sodimizes the lovely inmate. After the nurses become excited from watching his encounter he has the girl removed so he can pleasure his two assistants. In an all out fuck-fest the girls let loose, culminating in a facial for the two nurses.

Madness is yet another outstanding DVD in Private Video's enormous catalog of adult features. Private Video is known for its high quality hardcore action and visually stunning erotica Private has been dominating the adult market with features shot outside of the United States and providing a healthy amount of European beauties for the DVD community. Private DVDs usually come with nice supplements and this DVD is no different. Nicely designed and easy to navigate main menus as well as full motion chapter menus. The audio on this DVD is offered in five languages and its English track is in stereo and sounds awesome. Subtitles in five languages are also available, but English is not included in this one. A half dozen or so preview trailers are also a nice inclusion, focusing on upcoming and current Private features and compilation DVDs. Private DVDs have also made it standard to include the very handy parental lock feature. Production notes and a short summary of Madness is also a welcome edition. But easily the best extra to be included is a making of featurette which includes tons of backstage material as well as an interview with the films main stars.

Lastly, to round out a really strong DVD, is a large photo gallery of stills. With this amount of extras the disc stands out as one of the better adult DVD's on the market. Private's quality productions are always reliable and are excellent additions to any adult DVD collector's collection, but this film is an extra special treat. A really awesome DVD, visually stunning and highly erotic stunning beauties in all out hardcore action, everything an adult fan wants in a feature. Private has maintained the highest quality product since inception and has always been a nice alternative too the largely American based adult features on DVD. If you are unfamiliar with features from Private, be prepared to be pleasantly surprised.
