Imagine having the ability to write down your sexual dreams and then have them come to life.

By Ms Christine and JC
The ever hot Jessica Drake is a romance writer who gets to put things in her own perspective and the dreams come to a reality "write" before us. Set up in a very beautiful home, success breeds success and Jessica keeps churning out one great book after another.

We begin with a romantic pairing of Evan Stone and Victoria Givens in a very elaborate bathtub. One of the great things that Wicked has been doing in the last few months is having extreme close ups where viewers are able to get a professional education from the best in the business as to how to give (and receive) great oral sex.

Needing to settle down from her most recent chapter, Jessica begins to cool herself off with an ice cube. Lucky piece of ice. Before long Brad Armstrong in the ever changing in front of camera behind the camera roles come to the rescue as the boyfriend looking for a major commitment. One of the other great things in Wicked films is the way the stars get along together on film. Even in situations where people are married to others, the easy natural way and style is truly masterful.

Out to discuss what will be the topic of the next published work, Jessica and Wendy Divine get to check out a number of different men as they share a bit of lunch in an outdoor café. Thinking that the waiter and Wendy would make a great couple, Jessica's mind starts to work. Watch out. Waiter Eric Masterson and real life wife Wendy hook up on a beautiful sunny afternoon.

After being in the "virtual" scene during lunch Wendy returns home to the rarely seen John West who gives her a real nasty pounding. You need to look far and wide to see what Wendy has been up to, but it is well worth the effort. Bubbly and erotic, this former feature dancer knows how to deliver. Unfortunately we still cannot figure out why she is married to that goofball Masterson.

Looking for a man in her own life, Jessica needs to see what wild things are outside of her sheltered world. Lucky for Steve St Croix to be at the same place at the same time as the gardener he gets to share in this sudden urge for sex and we get to enjoy the talents of Jessica once again.

Thinking that there is no connection left between them, the love story comes into play at the last minute and before Brad can leave the country, Jessica professes his love for her and they live happily ever after.

Directed by Jim Enright and Produced by Shauna McCullough, these veterans of the industry pull together a great film with just the right amount of straight and lesbian sex. Don't look for any group activity or anal though. As expected in Wicked features, behind the scenes, the making of, Wicked girls, interviews, preview, etc are abound.

This One's for Couples, Women and Newbies To Porn...

By Spooky
Very few adult features tell a story from a woman's perspective, but that's exactly what viewers will get in Wicked's Sex & Romance, a title that is intended primarily for couples (and even single ladies!).

Jessica Drake stars as a romance writer who is becoming popular with fans due to the fact that she tends to be more sexually explicit in her writings. As she writes her stories, we get to see the visualization of what she is writing about - starting with a coupling between Victoria Givens and Evan Stone. The dialogue between the two actors in this scene is intentionally over-the-top and melodramatic, but the action between Stone and Givens is what we'd expect - hot and steamy.

Back in her real life, Jessica is carrying on a romance with Brad Armstrong. In an usual twist, it's Brad who is seeking a committed relationship, while Jessica just wants to be good friends with him and use him as an occasional "fuck buddy".

After getting it on with Brad, Jessica heads off to meet her publisher, Wendy Divine, at dinner. When Jessica orders, she mentions to the waiter (Eric Masterson) how much Wendy would like to have him for dinner! This leads to a fantasy segment where Jessica enjoys her meal while Eric and Wendy go at it right in front of her.

Returning home, Wendy gets it on with her actual boyfriend, played by John West. It's unusual for actresses to have back to back sex scenes in a title, and I couldn't help but feel that the coupling here wasn't quite as hot as the one between Wendy and Eric in the previous scene.

In the only scene that may turn-off the female viewers out there (although the guys will love it!), Victoria Givens and Paulina get into some girl/girl action in a fantasy sequence that takes place in an office. There's no toy use in this scene - just tongues, hands and fingers...which is always a good way to film a passionate encounter between two women.

Finding out that Brad is going to break up with her, Jessica decides to let go of some of her sexual inhibitions (not that the character she is playing has many!) and get it on with the gardener, played by Steven St. Croix. But after she does this, she decides to patch things up with Brad anyway...but naturally leaves out the part about getting it on with Steven!

Extras on this DVD include a 12 minute behind-the-scenes featurette, which is more of a montage of behind the scenes footage than it is informative. There are also a number of slide shows, star biographies and trailers to check out. Not bad, but a little less than we've come to expect from Wicked when it comes to bonus material.

Because Wicked makes such great adult features, I'm probably a little more critical of their releases than I would be for a lesser studio. That being said, I found Sex & Romance to be a rather average release from them...although I'll point out once again that this title is obviously directed towards women and couples, and could be a great introductory title for those who are interested in porn, but don't want their first movie to be too wild or kinky.
