Desert Camp Sex Exchange

It's way too easy to get spoiled on Private DVDs. They have established an Olympian standard of excellence in erotica and production that porn critics are compelled to review their latest products with a whole different set of criteria. About the worst I can say for any Private release is that the overdubbed soundtrack can be a bit distracting, and the sex can lose a little in the way of passion since it is performed with such professionalism and proficiency.

Other than that, most Private movies are simply terrific, and such is the inevitable case with DESERT CAMP SEX EXCHANGE. The hardcore is beautifully directed, yet never ever skimps on graphic detail. The women are sexy as hell, and never flinch while taking a hard-on up their ass or being cramped up with a double penetration shot. Porn fans also get a chance to leave the comforts of their living room and travel (virtually speaking, of course) to exotic locations like Israel where the performers have sex in outdoor desert locations and in the middle of an ocean while riding on a yacht.

The story is basically about a bunch of art students who go on an exchange program overseas. Maria Ricci opens the movie with a standard bedroom scene where she bids goodbye to her boyfriend before he goes on his little trip. Her segment is good, but feels like filler before we get to the main story. Maria is attractive, yet a little unemotional throughout the anal and cum facial scenes.

We are given a brief tour of Israel before the next scene, where dirty blonde C.G. Summer and Kristina Belle have lesbian sex while underneath an outdoor desert shower. Their girl-girl tryst is made especially appealing by their extended tongue kissing and convincing lust for each other's bodies. After some more sight-seeing shots, we return back to the desert for a threesome featuring yet another blonde, Chrystal, who has gorgeous blue eyes which could rival Ginger Lynn in terms of seduction. There isn't a single moment in her scene where she isn't being banged by some hard cock in her ass or in her quim, while inhaling on a hard-on with her mouth and tongue in constant motion. Stella Virgin, who could easily pass for Cassidey's fraternal twin sister, is up next in a straight boy-girl scene which takes place in a tent, and although she too is a hearty performer, she avoids the cumshot by turning her head and having most of it fall on her cheek without even so much as a taste.

Blondes Alexa Schiffer and Blond Panni ride on a love boat of sex while taking on some thin lanky guy who kind of resembles American actor Ron Silver, who pretty much just lays there in the beginning of the scene while the girls work on his cock. Although a threesome, the girls don't work together as a team as I would have liked, and the double facial they share lacks extensive cum-swapping. Once again, this is a good scene, but not a superb one.

Dark-haired Stella Virgin and Chrystal have separate boy-girl scenes outdoors in what is probably the best segment in the whole flick. Both women are experts at what they do, and both look simply beautiful while doing it. The varied positions and well-directed sex make for a terrific viewing experience, but opportunities were missed when we are denied a little warmth and tenderness between the two girls. The scene's saving grace occurs when the two come together for some post-orgasmic deep kissing and cum swapping, but the scene fades out prematurely for total enjoyment.

Everything else about the DVD is excellent: you get great video and (dubbed) audio quality, and standard extras which exceed most American productions, including a well-made "Report" on the making of the movie and a photo gallery with original stills and pictures. The trailer is shown in letterboxed format, with the top and bottom of the screen masked off to give a widescreen effect.

I will admit that DESERT CAMP SEX EXCHANGE isn't my favorite DVD from this studio. Yet to give it anything less than an overall top rating would be unfair by any standard. Think of this movie as just more great stuff from the good people at Private Video.
