White Rabbit

Michael Raven delivers his adult version of Alice In Wonderland in White Rabbit, a well-directed feature that has Sunset Thomas in the lead role as "Allyson", a young girl who takes a strange journey into a land filled with some bizarre characters.

The appeal of this film will depend on how open-minded the viewer is about watching a title that is often non-linear and confusing, but always visually stunning. Other than the obvious parody of Alice In Wonderland, there's really no story here, but that doesn't make this particular title any less interesting to watch.

The movie opens with Sunset at her birthday party. Obviously the actors here are being portrayed as little kids, but Raven steers clear of any child porn references (even though the actors are probably all in their 30's), by not having any sexual innuendoes during this part of the film. Instead, Sunset is asked to make a wish before blowing out the birthday candles on her cake, and when she does, she is magically transformed to another place with an odd assortment of characters.

The first sex scene involves Sunset with TT Boy and Violet Rose, but although Sunset does give a bit of blowjob action to TT during this sequence, the real down and dirty stuff happens between TT and Violet only, as she is the only one of the two girls to get penetrated in this opening sequence.

One of the odder sex scenes (as if they all aren't a little weird!) involves Alec Metro as a cook and Inari Vachs and Mikki Taylor as two women totally covered in body paint...just for the record, Inari's the pink girl and Mikki is the one covered in blue. I can't imagine this scene was all that comfortable to film for the girls, but it beats the green covered Dave Hardman I had to watch a few months back in the Women In Black DVD!

One of my favorite sex scenes in the movie was a semi-orgy (six people, but each stayed with the person they had paired up with) that involved Nina Hartley, Jill Kelly, Teri Starr, Ian Daniels, Alec Metro and Tony Martino. In this scene, we find Nina teamed with Ian, Jill with Tony, and Alec with Gina. I found this sequence really appealing because of porn veteran Hartley, who believe it or not, is the hottest woman to watch during the action. She looks fantastic riding Ian in the reverse cowgirl position, and takes a great facial at the end of the scene that may even get non-fans of Nina's rock hard.

White Rabbit loses some of its originality during the last twenty minutes, as both of the final sex scenes take place in the same room, the first being a three-way with Julie Meadows, TT Boy and Brian Surewood (which, by the way, climaxes with the best facials of the film), and the second (and final scene of the movie) involving Sunset, Mia Smiles, Gina Ryder and Eric Price. Anal fans will want to note that Sunset gets her backdoor filled by Eric in this final scene, but she does not get any of Mr. Price's creamy goodness, as he chooses to blow on the other two women, with Mia getting the majority of the eruption.

If there's any real downside to this title, it's in the extras section. Sin City seems determined to skimp when it comes to bonus features, and it's the same deal once again here. The front-loaded phone sex ads are really tiresome, and although the most recent Raven titles released by Sin City on DVD changed the previews to some of his other titles, they have gone back to providing the same six previews again here that are contained on 99% of their other DVDs. There's also a photo gallery, but it's pretty run-of-the-mill.

The main reason for picking up White Rabbit is for the directorial style of Michael Raven. If you enjoy his movies, this DVD is one of his most visually interesting titles. I also enjoyed the music soundtrack, which includes a number of good songs that add to the enjoyment of the film.
