75 Nurse Orgy, The

The most impressive element of The 75 Nurse Orgy is the interactivity. Not within the movie itself, rather I speak of the wonderful effort Vivid put forth to engage our senses with special little touches of "extra" content. The feature presentation has good and bad points... I'll get to that shortly. So now, straying from my usual critique structure, let's examine the "extras" prior to poking around the Orgy.

This DVD opens by placing viewers in a comp-generated Club Vivid virtual lounge. You know, frankly I cannot describe this any way except for "cool". So kick back all neo-beatniks, take a look around and enjoy the view! As for that view...the club allows we "gods of the remote control" to move around hallways, open various doors and take in some short yet arousing side show sex vignettes encompassing tastes of all sorts; blowjobs, girl/girl, anal and good old fashioned fucking. The many other "extras" include a Meet the Girls section which oddly enough showcases Vivid contract girls none of whom appear in this particular feature: Kira, Kobe, Janine, Raylene, etc. Also included are trailers, a web-promo feature and, of course, this DVD is also fully computer compatible with a DVD-ROM drive.

Now, on to the main feature...

Most notably, this is truly not a feature for anyone who isn't into the all-girl motif. With the "extras" as the only exception, the title says it all, "An all girl orgy!" That being said, if girl on girl action is what you seek, The 75 Nurse Orgy should fulfill your whims.

Beginning with a stylish shot of an ambulance arriving at the hospital during a torrential downpour of rain, the film opens. However, this nicely shot segment is rudely interrupted by annoying 80's guitar riffs composed by T.J. Hammer. Thankfully, the music ends quickly and is not present through the feature beyond that introductory point. The following two hours of video serve up a gurney-load of sex toys, kissing, rubbing, strap-on fucking, analingus and clit-busting action. Sans any real storyline, The 75 Nurse Orgy just leads viewers through many series of already-in-progress sexual situations. It appears quite evidently that the entire hospital is getting it on simultaneously. The camera uses subtle guidance pointing us into these many infirmary rooms filled with anywhere from two to eight girls.

Even though the separate segments are individually attainable via the motion chapter section, this is ultimately a continuously running video lacking any kind of intermittent segue. As I stated previously, the storyline is non-existent. The whole "nurse" thing is just a basis for setting and costume. Good, bad or indifferent... this is an all sex flick. With that in mind, there is indeed dialogue though. And, it is appropriate, hot and necessary dialogue. You know... speech like, "Slap that pussy" and "Lick her ass!" Oh yes, the dialogue works well. Combined with good verbal demands, these ladies demonstrate great use of tongues, pussy lips, dildos and vibrators. Be it an examination upon rambunctious patients or front desk receptionists engaging in phone-play, the lips are spread to the max and the toys inserted into every orifice. A lesbian nurse fetish lover's dream, I say!

To summarize: The 75 Nurse Orgy is an all-sex, all girl, series of intertwined sex scenarios utilizing just about every sexual angle that can be achieved with an all female cast. Definitely for fans of lesbian action and definitely not for story-seekers or those easily bored by lesbian themes. The girls, though not Vivid's well-known contract stars, are fairly hot and justly apt to the task at hand. Aside from some photography distractions (four different videographers worked on this project, thus providing some good and some poor camera work intermixed) and poor theme music (the Lounge music is cool, though), this DVD earns an above-average grade.

I dont know why others gave this DVD a five star rating. While the film is good with lots of hot lezzie action, the DVD suffers a lot. The video quality is horrible, especially for a 1999 flick. It looks like it was done with a cheap home camcorder and poorly transferred to film, the poorly transferred to DVD 5 years later. Full frame, which was still standard in '99, but rotten video quality, which was not acceptable from a major company at this point. Its so bad you may not even be able to identify your favorite actress here, which is a shame because it reads like a "whos who" of 90's porn babes.

The audio is 5.1, but with the exception of Andrew Blake films, no pornos were made with surround sound during this era. It sounds like mono that was doubled for stereo effect, then had annoying background sounds added later on for the surround sound. These sounds might be commonly found in a real hospital, but this is supposed to be a porn, and they were actually very distracting. The audio was also not pristine quality, and a lot of the girls screams & moans come off as irritating.

The extras are OK. There are plenty of bonus scenes, but this DVD was made when porno studios were just learning how to make DVD menus. They put in a really ugly 3D navigation system, and trying to get around & find stuff is downright difficult. This is totally unacceptable for a DVD of any era, and should have been made much simpler.

The movie itself is pretty darn good. No plot. The gals just walk in and start going at it. TONS of girls. They play solo, one-on-one and in large groups. They do old fashioned 69's, they play with toys, and they even make a couple of daisy chains. The action is 2 hours straight, hot and heavy. No messing around with sensuality or eroticism. They just go at it like homosexual rabbits.

Everyone should see this movie at least once for the gonzo lesbian experience, but only people who are serious fans of the actresses should consider purchasing this.

I pretty much ended up fast forwarding through most of this video. There is heavy toy use in this one. No passion, no sensuality - just the mechanical thrusting of plastic into orifices. Unless you have a fascination for dildos, I can't imagine it being of much interest.

The camera constantly skipped around, and the sterile hospital setting was hardly erotic. Plus, this DVD's menu was one of the worst I have used yet. Instead of making it easy to jump to chapters, this DVD employs a very amateurish looking "virtual reality" interface that was tedious and time consuming to use.

Nothing worth seeing here.

Vivid finally hit the jackpot putting this DVD out. I loved all 2 hours and 9 minutes of it! This movie kicked ass! Kelsey Heart was in it, whom I especially love...she is so hot! A lot of unknown and "up-n-cumming" stars are in this film. This is a good movie to see what hot honeys are available on DVD.
