The truncated nature of the scenes makes Best of North Pole feel more like a series sampler than a true compilation. If you want the full scenes, you'll still have to buy the original titles. While this is a good strategy for North, it kind of sucks for fans. I think it would have been a better idea to include 6-8 full scenes. Still, the action provided is pretty good, and with 16 scenes there's certainly a good variety. Although short, the trimmed scenes make for a nice wall-to-wall viewing experience. But don't expect to find any career highlight performances from any of the featured stars.
