Euroglam Budapest: Wanda Curtis

For fans of Andrew Blake comes the new generation in artistic pornography. Euroglam (Budapest) is the first in director Michael Ninn's erotic European trilogy and if it's any indication of what we can expect from the next two films, we're all in for a treat.

Wanda Curtis sets the screen on fire as she teases us with a striptease shot in beautiful black and white slow motion. But the tease doesn't last long as Nick Manning takes the sexy temptress in every possible position resulting in a remarkable cumshot. The beauty of Ninn's camerawork is the skillful set-up of at least three cameras for the important scenes (like the cumshot into Curtis' mouth). It's only then that we realize her true pleasure in savoring every minute of that hot load of cum.

Like Blake's movies, Euroglam doesn't focus on any kind of storyline and quite frankly, doesn't need one. The soundtrack accentuates the moment of the scenes, which are quite long especially considering the lack of set-up. Nikki Blond and Frank Gunn work their magic in the second scene. Wanda Curtis is a hard act to follow, though, and the steaminess that existed in the first scene is no longer present. But the atmosphere is the true star and we feel as though we're watching the couple in a New York upscale bar.

Ninn does a terrific job of giving the film a noirish feel throughout and only hints at the deeper, criminal element of the characters. Perhaps it's just the connection of glamour to money and money to crime. But that's all irrelevant when you watch a professional like Nikki Blond give a blowjob. There's also some anal sex here which she takes like a champ.

If the film seems to take a hiatus, however, buckle yourself in for Wanda's reappearance as she masturbates in one of the sexiest masturbation scenes I've seen in a long while. Without the use of toys or any artificial assistance, Wanda works herself thoroughly by way of her hand. The visuals are truly fantastic with the curtains blowing in the background and the only piece of furniture being a single chair. You can't tell if it's night or day but it doesn't matter. Once again, Wanda is just perfection.

I think the most remarkable scene in the film (notice I say 'film' not 'movie') is a foursome with simply the hottest cum shots and cum-swapping I've ever seen. A lot of it has to do, once again, with the play-back of the scene from different angles. No need to multi-angles here, Ninn does it all for you.

The film is just a joy from beginning to end but the menu leaves a bit to be desired. The scene selection offers moving pictures for you to choose from and there's one in particular that shows three women but when you click on that scene, you get something all together different. And the most bizarre thing is, when you watch the film from beginning to end, the threesome scene just doesn't exist. But I can't complain since the rest of the movie is total pleasure and there are many good things about the menu.

The photo gallery automatically plays like a slide show, which is terrific. No need to keep your hands on the remote (if you know what I mean). And I cannot stress the importance of watching even after the credits roll. There is a bonus scene and it's a long one. Once again, I was disappointed that they had three beautiful women showing off their perfect bodies and not one of them engaged in lesbian activity, but that's not what Euroglam is about. It's about glamour and the art of erotic photography. It's about seductive music (by Loren Alexander) playing over erotic images. And it's about Wanda Curtis who should be in a wax museum somewhere showing off her perfect body.

Michael Ninn should have a long and illustrious career in the adult industry and if he's out there listening, I ask only one thing: don't tease us with scenes that don't exist. But in all fairness, you should check it out for yourself. Perhaps I was so distracted by the utter perfection of this film, that I didn't notice the missing lesbian scene. That can only happen if something's too good to be true...and Euroglam (Budapest) is just that.
