Studio Bust Out

From it's cheap and cheesy cover jacket to the garish videography throughout the main feature, and starring actors and actresses who have yet to emerge from their amateur ranks, STUDIO BUST OUT is more mediocre porn from Big Top Video. Obviously meant to appeal to big breast fans, this feature is almost charmingly pathetic in its attempt to pass itself off as a genuine adult movie, deserving of a DVD release. That's not to say that Big Top video should be prevented from releasing their products into the digital medium, but one has to wonder why we get this kind of stuff flooding the DVD market when great works like Andrew Blake's HIDDEN OBSESSIONS and LES FEMMES EROTIQUES, or John Leslie's THE TEASE and HATE TO SEE YOU GO remain unavailable on DVD. Even if you are a big fan of big tits, there are so many other videos out there which outshine this tepid release. But if you are a fan of amateur work, even if the end result is unintentionally amateurish, this video might float your boat.

The cover spotlight attractive actresses Lyna LeMay and Lisa Phillips, who look sexy enough as they stare into the camera with their boobs touching rather demurely. However, the photo looks like it was taken from a newspaper and pasted on using a cheap computer art program. Also, please note that contrary to the credits on the back, the legendary busty blonde Lynn LeMay does not make an appearance, but you do get the aforementioned Lyna LeMay performing in two "just okay" scenes. Actually, given the apparent budget of this feature, it is doubtful that director Brett England could have afforded to hire a professional like Lynn anyhow.

There are six scenes in this movie, which takes place in an office setting, with the exception of the opening sequence, where some guy and Cathy Patrick have sex on a photo set. Blonde, pale and well fed, Ms. Patrick does an admirable job trying to generate enthusiasm during her straight scene, but the overly bright lighting and clumsy camera angles are unflattering. Thankfully, this scene seems to be divorced from the rest of the main feature, and was probably included to pad the running time.

The most appealing performer in the movie, plus-sized brunette Zorina Dreams, does average work in two straight scenes with two different guys. I have no idea where they got these swordsmen, but their work in this movie even made me appreciate the likes of Alex Sanders and Eric Price. Zorina does a competent blowjob, and knows how to ride on cock with as much boob bouncing as possible. With more practice, she might become a pretty good supporting actress in some video by one of the major companies. Lyna LeMay and Lisa Phillips give a half-hearted attempt at a lesbian scene, which mainly consists of Lyna spread across the desk as Lisa licks away at her snatch. Their scene is interrupted by two guys who get their shot at playing with their fun-bags. After some straightforward blowjobs, tit-fucking and regular fucking, all guys get to unload on the girl's hooters. Fans of anal sex or oral money shots will definitely have to look elsewhere. This movie is really all about seeing girls breasts bounce up and down, and swing to and fro. After about eighty minutes, the movie ends.

The extras on this disc are as expected from any routine porno release: The photo gallery feature still images which are considerably sharper and better lit than anything in the video, but all the trailers for their "Current DVD's" [sic] have that same, cheap, pasty look. Each girl has her own biographical profile (as expected, I have never heard of the other movies in which these women have appeared), and a very brief video clip of them in lingerie, which resembles some sort of test footage or amateur reel (the purpose of these clips are never really explained, nor are they really worthy of the viewer's attention).
