Black Widow

I've watched a lot of adult movies in my tenure as a reviewer for Adult DVD Empire, and I think Black Widow may get the record for the most characters killed before the end of the movie. Now, I won't give away who gets gunned down (quite literally, by the way) before the film's conclusion, but let's just say that out of the entire cast only two remain by the end of the film!

Black Widow is a well-shot film that could have been a great adult movie if it's storyline had made one bit of sense. I got the feeling when watching the film that the ending came to the writer's mind first, but they couldn't figure out the story that would lead up to the conclusion. However, the actual sex is so well filmed, that Black Widow still rates as an above-average movie, and should particularly appeal to the couples market, as many of the scenes have a soft and sensuous feel to them.

The movie opens with a particularly nice scene between businessman Joel Lawrence and his wife, played by Chandler. I haven't seen Chandler in a lot of films lately, but she proves that she still has it here, looking great in almost every position she takes it in from Joel.

The second scene takes place back at Joel's office, where he has an equally entertaining segment with his secretary, Dee. The best part of this scene is watching Dee's wonderful sucking skills, which can be seen in several angles thanks to the multiple angle option on the DVD.

Stevie is on hand for scene three, which teams her up with Mark Wood. Stevie is currently being marketed as one of the rising stars in the business, and she has been on the cover of several recent movies (including this one). While Stevie always seems to look good in stills and poses (like the one of the box cover of Black Widow)...there is just something about her that seems kind of butch and manly, and totally turns this reviewer off. She's got a nice body and a great attitude towards sex (she takes the best facial in the movie in this scene), but call me crazy...something about the way she carries herself is a real turn-off.

The next to last scene is one in which a cop played by Joey Ray busts a couple of girls for prostitution, but not before he has a threesome with them, of course. The girls are played by the blonde and British Ashley and by dark haired Coral Sands. There's a nice bit here when Joey squirts his load onto Coral's tits, and Ashley licks up the cum.

In the final scene, Chandler and Stevie return to get hot and heavy with each other. As I stated earlier, I'm not a big fan of Stevie, but Chandler is a big turn on here, especially when Stevie rams a vibe deep into her ass.

The video is as near to perfect as you're going to find on an adult title, and the audio is also well-done, although some of the dialogue is a bit too low. The bonus features on this disc are fantastic, giving viewers five trailers, 11 minutes worth of interviews with the cast, and a 10 minute behind the scenes featurette, in addition to the multiple angle option during the film.

Had a little more time been spent on the story, Black Widow may have been an award contender...as it is, it is still a very nice piece of adult film, recommended most to couples and first-timers who are curious about adult DVD and what it has to offer.
