Hardcore Hairdresser

Upon my initial viewing of VCA's HARDCORE HAIRDRESSER, I was immediately reminded of an early John Stagliano video with the exact same novelty and premise entitled BLOWING IN STYLE. Featuring Tianna, Bionca and Brandy Alexander, BLOWING IN STYLE was a superb little video with lots of hot sex, and a remarkable performance from Tianna, who gives an on-screen blowjob that is forever burned into my memory. Unfortunately, this "update" on that underrated movie cannot compare to the yet-to-be-released-on-DVD video from the early nineties. While it may not be fair to compare a superior work by the man who invented gonzo, John Stagliano, I'm afraid that HARDCORE HAIRDRESSER deserves no better. There are several very hot scenes to make this title warrant an "above-average" rating, but I generally expect better releases from VCA.

Among seven scenes, almost all of them are certainly above average. Lauren Montgomery participates in three scenes, including the film's opener which features some heated anal action with Evan Stone, a lesbian lovefest with blonde beauty Keri Windsor, and a so-so straight scene with Kyle Stone. The girls engage in hungry mutual clit-licking and some strap-on dildo fucking after Keri is shaved to bald beaver smoothness. Unfortunately, the fucking shots suffer from too many close-ups of the action, instead of giving us full shots of the girls' bodies. Keri, unfortunately, walks away from the rest of the film after her scene, which is unfortunate since she looks like she would positively burn in a straight girl-guy scene. Luckily, there are other actresses who make up for Keri's disappearance.

Maya Devine is a bubbly blonde who looks delectable in a tight, low-cut shirt which is just too tempting to resist by patron Eric Masterson. Even though big titted blondes are a dime a dozen in the world of porn (though, sadly, not in real life) Maya is fun to watch in almost any sexual act, and her smiling blowjobs would be enough to keep me smiling for the rest of my life. Short-haired blonde Tracy Love is sexy as hell in her anal scene with Brick Majors. She delivers a blowjob which is highlighted by a sexy mouth that is mesmerizing to watch. She apparently takes it up the backdoor with ease, and looks like she can ride cock for hours at a time.

Dark-haired Ginger Paige also looks delectable when she starts off in a straightforward cowgirl fuck, followed by a blowjob and ending in a doggy with an oral-finishing cumshot to her chest. Covergirl Lauren returns for another girl-guy scene, this time with Kyle Stone. But since their encounter lacks anything out of the ordinary, it is her weakest moment in the movie. Finally, Elle Devyne closes the movie with a straight scene with Julian, which is good but not great.

The "Bios" section of the disc contains only superficial information, such as the actresses' height, measurements, awards and company credits. You do have the option to jump directly to the girl's scene if you have a favorite. Thankfully, multiple angles and other distracting extras are left out from this disc, but without them, the plain vanilla nature of this movie becomes all the more obvious. Still, the expectedly excellent video and audio quality for which VCA is known, is clearly evident on this DVD. Even with their mediocre titles, VCA delivers the product in its finest form.

HARDCORE HAIRDRESSER is a good, solid film for a first or second time viewer, but really doesn't offer anything that can't be found in better videos. Lauren Montgomery is definitely an attractive feature here, but not quite enough to save it from an overall average experience.
