De-Briefed

DE-BRIEFED is one of those goofy and dopey porno movies which does its job in getting you off, but doesn't offer much more than that. Directed by Mark Kismet, this DVD is a rather disappointing offering from Hustler Video, a studio which gave us incredibly popular titles like BARELY LEGAL and HOT SHOWERS. The low-budget production design, the static shot-on-video direction, and the overall aimlessness of the plot reminded me of all those crappy, seventy-five minute adult movies from the eighties and early nineties. Of course, everything nowadays is gonzo, gonzo and more gonzo, with only a handful of long-established companies even bothering to make cinematic porn at all. Unfortunately the unmemorable results of DE-BRIEFED prove to us why adult "movies" are a dying craft.

Leggy, busty and sexy as hell Jessica Jaymes is the featured starlet as one of many lawyers in this flick. She appears in two of the six scenes, and other than her obvious great looks, I didn't find her work all that spectacular. (Then again, none of the encounters in this movie are particularly impressive.) She shows up in the middle of the movie forming a threesome Manuel Ferrara and Katie Morgan (a slender, blonde recognizable for her appearances on HBO specials) who plays the daughter of fellow attorney Dick Nasty. The sex is notable for the double team blowjob on Mr. Ferrara, and the girls assume the standard positions (doggie-style, cowgirl, and spooning) before the inevitable facial. With the exception of golden-girl hottie Nicki Hunter's initial anal scene with Evan Stone, the couplings in DE-BRIEFED are strictly anal-less, and so variety is definitely lacking.

Jessica appears next in a one-on-one with Randy Spears, a man who has had sex with more young porno princesses in his nearly twenty-year career than I can possibly count. Of course, it's a pleasure to see Miss Jaymes' sexy mouth filled with cock (even if it isn't mine). But the competently performed schtupping doesn't make this scene any more outstanding than the others.

I did, however, enjoy the girl-girl affair between Kinzie Kenner and Sandra Shine, both of whom skillfully use their tongues and dildos on each other nether regions. Sure, a little more girl-girl kissing would have been nice (I certainly can't get enough of it in my porno flicks), but the two brunettes make up for the lack of intimacy with their great looks.

A forgettable scene between Austin and Evan Stone comes late in the movie. He goes down on her, but she neglects to do the same on him. Then they do it in missionary, doggie and reverse cowgirl style, and the scene ends with him splooging all over her face. Finally, DE-BRIEFED concludes with a blowjob-only scene between blonde Chelsea and Dick Nasty. She plays a masseuse who gives him a happy ending with her mouth. It's a rather anti-climactic ending to this feature, and will probably leave you far less satisfied than Mr. Nasty.

On the plus side, DE-BRIEFED has a bright, colorful picture and intelligible audio. Most Hustler DVDs shine above industry standards, and this production is no exception. Extras, however, are average. You get a photo gallery (exhibited as a slide show), a few trailers, and a behind the scenes segment, none of which are especially interesting. If it weren't for Jessica Jaymes, I might have considered DE-BRIEFED to be below average. Thankfully, she definitely adds value to this run-of-the-mill video.
