Big Game

Stephanie Swift headlines BIG GAME, an Elegant Angel mystery/thriller/drama directed by David Stanley. Although I wouldn't exactly put this movie in the same category as THE USUAL SUSPECTS or even on the level of an Andy Sidaris film, there is some degree sexual intrigue going on with Stephanie, Melissa Hill, Felecia and Sindee Cox, which make this shot-on-video production an interesting watch. My advice is to forget the movie's narrative (which sometimes has a habit of interrupting the hot sex scenes) and to concentrate on the hardcore, which is plentiful and satisfying.

Although currently under contract with Wicked, Stephanie Swift turned in some amazing work when she started with Elegant Angel, but she's a bit underused in BIG GAME, despite her starring role. She appears in two straight scenes, both with Mickey G and indulges in a masturbation frenzy while Sindee Cox and Felicia do the pussy bump and grind in a next-door jail cell. My favorite video of Ms. Swift's is the recent Wicked release, SEX SAFARI, where she looks her best and performs in every scene, so watching her limited sexual exploits in this video was a bit disappointing. There is no doubt that she and Mickey have a rather passionate chemistry together, but there is simply too much foot-play going on in their suck and fuck encounter which to me was more distracting than involving, especially when she tries to stick her big toe up Mickey's ass (different strokes for different folks, I guess). They also share a masturbation followed by a quickie blowjob sequence early on; Stephanie never shies away from a good oral cumshot, but Mickey also shows interest in having a taste of his own medicine when he immediately pulls her in for a very wet and messy kiss (again, different strokes...).

Melissa Hill looks stunning in her co-lead role, and is the sexiest thing in this movie. Her straight scene with Tom Byron is frenzied and action-packed, with Ms. Hill throwing herself into a rocking reverse-cowgirl position which shows off her deliciously slender body to great effect. Call me a sucker for redheads, but Melissa is one of those porn actresses who seems incapable of delivering a bad performance, no matter how cheap or cheesy the production. The fact that she has a cute overbite which makes her lips look pouty and luscious whenever she is swallowing on hard cock simply adds to her sexual charm. Melissa also performs with Mickey G for the video's finale, which is also hot and heavy, but can't quite match the Tom Byron tryst. Also, I was sorry that the director decided to deny Melissa fans a chance at a hot lesbian encounter with either Stephanie or Felicia. However, girl-girl fans will be more than happy with the Tiffany Mynx/Sindee Cox/Coral Sands threesome which opens the film, in which every hole is filled with tongues, fingers, and toys to their squealing delight.

Surprisingly, my favorite scene in the film involves a leisurely, but still scorching, ménage a trois with Felicia, Sindee Cox and Billy Glide. Although not integral to the plot, this throwaway tryst was definitely arousing with Felicia eating out Sindee, and Sindee deep-throating Billy's cock like their lives depended on it. As expected, Felicia keeps a respectful distance from anything resembling a human penis, so it's up to Sindee to ride the baloney pony, which she does very well, might I add. If all the other scenes maintained this level of heat and excitement, I might have considered BIG GAME to be one of the best DVDs of this year.

Although the visuals on this disc are bright, clear and colorful (which is unusual for early Elegant Angel releases which suffered greatly from poor picture quality), there is a shimmering effect throughout the entire movie which gives most of the movie a blurry look. Audio quality, on the other hand, is pretty much problem-free. The extras include the predictable set of studio trailers, a photo gallery and a scene selection menu. And as usual, Elegant Angel makes the continuous production error of overlaying the notes of the DVD release on top of the credits of the original back box cover, making it all hard to read.

BIG GAME is big fun.
