Vengeance

Vengeance has the dubious honor of being the "next big thing" from Wicked Pictures after last year's outstanding Dream Quest. That's a tough act to follow for anyone, and while Vengeance doesn't have the size or scope of last year's porn epic, it is still one heck of a good movie, offering an interesting story and plenty of hot sexual action. This review is based on a VHS screener of Vengeance, so I have yet to see how great the picture will look and sound on DVD, nor have I had the opportunity to see what bonus goodies Wicked is going to provide us with, but given their past history, one can only assume that they will deliver the total package as they have with releases in the past.

The movie opens in the past, and while no specific date (or country for that matter) is mentioned, I can only assume that this is around the same time of the Salem Witch Trails (late 1600's) and the setting is Colonial America. A group of girls (Serenity, Gwen Summers and Kylie Ireland) witness their friend (Jewel De'Nyle) performing a ritualistic chant which mesmerizes the other women and causes them to start stripping their clothes off erotically. Unbeknownst to them, they are being followed by a local official of some standing in the town (his official title is never mentioned, but he apparently has law enforcement power over the citizens), played by a diabolical looking Lee Stone. Lee watches the women strip, then gives chase as they try to flee.

All of the sudden, we are in the present day, as Serenity awakens from a dream (or possible she was under) in her psychiatrist's office. The viewer will quickly notice that the psychiatrist is played by Jewel, so immediately we start to figure out what is going on with these characters. Serenity also noticeably has a rope burn mark around her neck...everyone starting to get the picture here?

Back at home, Serenity gets an odd call on her answering machine about a Coven ceremony and how "her name is on the list". Freaked out, Serenity tries to relax in the bathtub, only to have visions once again of herself in the past, this time with a lover played by Chris Cannon. While Serenity masturbates in the present, we see her and Chris making out in the past. After Chris gives Serenity a fair bit of oral pleasure, she returns the favor by giving him a hardy blowjob. Shortly after he finishes off with a nice facial, Lee Stone's character shows up on the scene to arrest Serenity as a witch. Chris tries to defend her, but Kylie Ireland (who we thought was a friend of Serenity's) betrays her and tells Lee that Serenity and Jewel are both evil and seduced her and Gwen into doing naughty things.

Of course, we now get to flashback a little further and see the naughty things that Kylie and Gwen were to do in a fairly hot four-way lesbian coupling. Serenity gets most of the attention early in this segment, getting a good licking from Jewel; but later on it is Jewel who is the center of attention, getting an equal amount of tonguing from Serenity. The action really heats up when (since, of course, there was no Doc Johnson in the 1600's), the girls break out the vegetables for a little extra fun. While no penetration takes place with the food, it was a fun scene to watch. I counted a couple of cucumbers, a piece of corn, and a purple veggie that I couldn't identify. Dammit, I'm a porn reviewer, not a horticulturist!

Back in the present, we find that Lee Stone is still around, and this time the head of the psychiatric hospital where Jewel works. Chris Cannon is there too, and apparently all three of them remember the past, although Serenity does not...at least, not yet. Giving away any more of the plot would ruin a good story, and I am not one of those reviewers who will give away the entire plot of a movie...even if it is an adult one. I will say however, that the meaning of the title "Vengeance" becomes clear in the film's final scenes, and it does give the title of the movie a totally new meaning.

There is a sex scene, however, that comes late in the film that is worth mentioning here. It is between Kylie Ireland and Chris Cannon, and it is easily the hottest one in the film, despite the fact that Serenity is the focus of the movie. Kylie seduces Chris into having sex with her and the action not only includes some hot blowjob and doggie style footage, but Chris decides to tongue-fuck Kylie's ass in a very sizzling rim job, in which Kylie adds to the intensity by fingering herself with four fingers! When Chris' tongue gets tired, he sticks three of his own fingers in her ass...which results in one of the wildest fingers-only double penetrations I've ever watched in an adult film!

A lot of critics may try and compare Vengeance to Dream Quest, which would be really unfair. No, Vengeance isn't the next Dream Quest...it bears better comparison to Wicked's other witch-themed title, Spellbound...both in theme and production values, and if you liked that film, you'll probably enjoy this one as well. Vengeance isn't going to set the adult world on fire, but it certainly does cast a sexy spell.

After "M" and "Double Feature", Serenity brings us "Vengeance" She shows why she has been the most dominant actress the last four years! It has a great storyline, costumes and sex...which includes two Serenity facials! I recomend the DVD version for the tons of extras Wicked gives you! For the Serenity collector, it's a must! For the new Serenity fan, an excellent start!
