Based on actual science... sort of!

By Anton Deztini
In the late 1960's, a Harvard Social Psychologist set an experiment upon the world that eventually led to the famous phrase, "Six Degrees of Separation". In short, this experiment was designed to see if a relatively small chain of acquaintances could eventually zero in on a particular target (a predefined individual, at a specific location). Stanley Milgram's conclusion explains that it takes roughly six people in the chain to reach the named stranger. Okay, other scientists and scholars have attempted this experiment, and still continue to this day, but to no such definitive results. In the wonderful world of erotica, always a forum to mirror reality of course, there is a sexual theory of similar nature. VCA's feature film Six Degrees of Penetration makes no bones about trying out the theory for the sake of sexual appetites.

While it's primarily a Chloe vehicle, this film throws a slew of other well known performers into the mix as well. Viewers can find the lovely Aurora, Lezley Zen, Pat Myne and Tyce Bune, to name a few, in a variety of visual sins. But on the down side, the story takes unusual turns that don't necessarily make the theory a fact, contrary to what the main character would have us think, some of the sexual scenarios are too contrived and overacted, and one of the most fiery performers of our day never gets a chance to show off her abilities even though we're led to believe otherwise thanks to false foreshadowing. What Six Degrees of Penetration does do correctly... exploiting the mind-numbing orgasmic exhibition Chloe, and only Chloe, is capable of.

There is little actual dialogue in this feature, most of the lines are spoken in monologue by Chloe. Incidentally she is our host, our guide rather through this fact-seeking experiment in human sexuality. What Chloe's character wants is nothing more than to prove that it only takes six indiscriminate sex partners to eventually lead back to the primary target (Chloe herself). So, in order to pull this off she resolves to go for a one night stand with Rafe. Upon her impassioned commands, Rafe engages her in deep finger fucking prior to entering her missionary style. From there, the sex goes doggy, spoon and an incredibly ravenous anal spoon. Chloe delivers yet another infamous eye-popping female orgasm that keeps going and going and going. Following Rafe's pale-in-comparison release, she hands him a silver charm necklace; the instructions are to give the jewelry to the next person he sl--ps with.

Although we don't actually see Rafe's next experience, we do find out who the lucky lady was. Over lunch, Chloe discovers that gal pal Lezley is wearing the necklace. Chloe is intrigued, but never divulges her secret plan while asking questions of her friend about the new adornment. Off to a new adventure in screwing, Lezley visits an art gallery only to seduce the manager played by Trevor Zen. Now this segment started off with a great deal of heat, but soon crashes and burns simply because of overly dramatic, choreographed fucking, and even more overt... body part placement strategies. What on earth do I mean by that? Well, once the couple is in a missionary position, and the camera is placed at just such a revealing angle, we see that Lezley spends a lot of time covering her under-the-breasts implant scars. In fact, this becomes even more noticeable and distracting when she finally lets loose in the passion, but Trevor takes the awkward step of trying to cover this for her. It's just downright silly by scenes end.

The next scene looks as though it may redeem the film. This time around, Chloe sets off to her favorite satanic sex cult meeting for a new sacrifice. The gorgeous and sexually fantastic Aurora Snow is the "lamb" for Chloe and Tyce's feast of flesh, but the young lass never really gets to show off as she's sort of sidelined to Chloe and Tyce's activities. It's still a good scene (Chloe rarely fails to inspire), but could have been much hotter and heavier had Aurora been instrumentally involved.

The satanic lord of darkness is now in possession of the necklace - for the moment. In a cloudy twist of plot, the necklace is stolen from his home by a hot blonde cat burglar and brought back to the booty collector Pat Myne. Predictably he takes special notice of the new item and takes it for himself. The partners in crime, pleased with their loot, decide to fuck in celebration, but Pat has a "new" plan... take everything and run off leaving her in the dust. This entire situation is interesting, yet inappropriate to the general fit of this story as a whole.

As it were though, Pat meets up with another assumed criminal, Eric Masterson. Together they double team Eric's female friend (sorry, no anal, no d.p.). This scene is moderately appealing, but nothing spectacular. Once the boys climax and go back to some more business talk, Eric begins to fancy the necklace Pat is wearing. You guessed it... Pat gives it to him. Further, you probably figured out that Eric will somehow hook up with Chloe, thereby proving her theory as a fact.

Six Degrees of Penetration definitely earns a good grade for the concept of the plot. Sure it's not original, but it's certainly not just another one of those cheesy parodies of respectable mainstream films. With VCA productions, one can expect a good clean DVD transfer and crisp audio too. Even so, the film falters in the main, most important of areas... sex. While Chloe's scenes are all stunning, the rest are, at best, mediocre. This is not the fault of the cast per se, as they are all proven champs in the ring of sexual ability and variety. Rather, the limitations of choreography, and in one case, insecurity, cause the sizzle to fizzle and consistency to go awry.

Not a bad little feature

By Don Houston
In a return to their usual standard of technical excellence, VCA released Six Degrees Of Penetration recently. It was sort of a take off on the old movie that suggested people's social groups are interconnected enough that we are all within six steps of everyone else.

Chloe, as the lead, describes her version of the theory and sets to putting it to the test, using sex (hey, this is a porno after all), as the means by which to test it. She uses a necklace and when someone has sex, they need to give it to their partner, who is told to pass it on the next time they have sex.

This wasn't the best from VCA but it was fun to watch, so check it out.

Synopsis:

Amy (Chloe) has an odd theory. She believes that we are all only separated by 6 sex partners. To prove her theory she picks up a random stranger at a nightclub, takes him home for a hot romp and asks him to wear a silver bracelet that he is to give to the next person he sl--ps with. Pretty soon the bracelet is seeing more action than a whorehouse during shore leave. Ultimately though, the bracelet finds it's way back to Amy on the arm of a studly stranger who is more than happy to help her prove her theory and complete the chain.
