Too Many Confusing Moments...

By Spooky
Jim Holliday uses Too Many Blonde Moments to throw every lame "dumb blonde joke" in the book at us, in a movie that certainly contains some of the cutest faces in the industry, but one that also boasts perhaps the most incomprehensible plotline I have yet to see in one of Jim's movies.

As most of his fans know, Jim Holliday uses his films not only to show off some of the sexier performers in porn, but to also use it as a forum for interestingly written dialogue and as many "in-jokes" as he can fit into a script. The problem with Too Many Blonde Moments is that much of what is said is probably only funny to Jim himself, as even the actresses and actors don't seem to know how to deliver many of the lines they are given.

As for the storyline, I'll try to explain it to you, but I'm not really sure myself what was going on. Shayla LaVeaux plays a congresswoman who finds herself suddenly in front of "The Inquisitor" (played by William Margold) along with a bunch of other blondes, who each are asked to tell Margold a dumb blonde joke. There's a sign on the wall that says "Brain Exchange", which leads one to believe that Margold is deciding if each blonde is smart enough to keep the brain they have...but that is never verbalized in the script.

As for the sex scenes, there are plenty of them, and fortunately they help this film from becoming a total failure. Alex Sanders is in the first full sex scene, teaming up with a blonde whom I believe was Summer Storm. Alex also has a scene later in the film with Casey Brooks, and both of Alex's sequences contain anal action. Evan Stone also gets his share of girls in this movie, having a one-on-one scene early on in the movie with Lita Chase, and then later having a foursome with Chase, Samantha Sterlyng and Allysin Chaynes. Dillion Day also has a nice segment with Nina Ferrari about half way through the film.

Additionally, there is plenty of lesbian action in the movie, including a pairing between August (one of the few non-blondes in the title) and Monica Mayhem; a foursome with Felecia, Chandler, Tayna Danielle and Sindee Coxx; and a nice movie-ending coupling between Bunny Luv and Shayla that suddenly turns into a pairing between Allysin and Shayla.

It's during the final scene that we find out that Shayla has (supposedly) dreamt the entire movie...which I suppose makes up for the fact that the film is impossible to understand. There's a film-ending coda that informs us that the congresswoman that Shayla is playing goes on to vote for a bill that gives second-time homicide by vehicle drivers the death penalty...which I thought might be Holliday's way of commenting on a bill that actually passed, but I was unable to find the bill on the internet, so I don't know if he's referring to an actual bill that was passed or not.

While the video and audio on this disc are up to VCA standards, surprisingly there is no Holliday commentary track on this disc...and this is a movie that definitely deserved one if only to hear what the hell Jim was thinking (or smoking!) when he wrote this baby! The features do include a few trailers, cast bios, a "wall to wall" sex option (which might be viewer's best choice for viewing the film!), and an option to turn the multiple angle icon on or off.

Too Many Blonde Moments is so surreal and goofy, it's hard to give it a recommendation. However, it does have the same quality in it's sex scenes that one has come to expect in a Holliday feature, so assuming you don't care about the story and just want to see some attractive women in action, you should probably be satisfied with what you get in this title.
