Tony Tedeschi is a mystery writer grieving over the loss of his wife and its
ensuing writer's block. As he pounds on the keys different stories emerge, laying the
foundation for this disc. In the first story called "The Black Cat", a guy named Henry allows
some friends to visit him. We learn that Henry's wife mysteriously died and that woman
visiting looks mysteriously like her. Henry, his male friend (Alex Saunders) and their female
companion have a seance and discover that the soul of the dead wife resides in the body of
the other woman. Enough plot, yet? Too make a long tale short, the two dudes decide they
must share the body of the woman and share her they do. Alex quickly goes for the pussy

It looks like a horror writer is having writers block, but have no fear his mind goes on a little tangent and comes up with stories that aren't so scary, but they will get your a pumping. Conclusion
This was fun to watch, because of the campy acting and the sex is hot. The pixelation that happens does not bother me so much, because it seems to work with the mood of the film. The pixlelation seems to give the film a grainy quality. When its all said and done its the quality of the sex that matters and this one does have its moments.

Twisted is director Phil M. Noir's highly-rated take on Edgar Allen Poe as told from a modern-day, hardcore perspective. This feature boasts strong sexual performance.

As is standard for Digital Playground, this DVD features 5.1-channel surround sound, chapter stops, and production stills with slide-show function; they're also all-region compatible, and support parental lock-out. A game of strip blackjack is accessible to those with a personal computer equipped with a DVD-ROM drive.

On this disc, pixelation is noticeable in darker scenes, in areas of low contrast, and during dissolves, fade-ins and -outs. I was about to bust Digital Playground for what I perceived as a lack of effort on their part. But then I discovered something critical: This disc is encoded at a fairly high bit-rate. Some scenes average between 6-8 Mbps, and occasionally peak around 9 Mbps-quite close to the 10 Mbps threshold of current DVD players. Higher bit-rates like these generally translate into excellent picture and sound; obviously, Digital Playground was making an attempt to deliver genuine quality with this disc.

So why the pixelation? This is most likely an encoding issue, as MPEG-2 encoding, which DVD utilizes, is something of an art as well as a science. And paying a person to sit at a computer and tweak individual frames of your film or video is cost-prohibitive. Mainstream manufacturers do it as a matter of course; most adult manufacturers do it on a limited basis or not at all-some because they don't know, others because they don't care, and still others because they simply can't afford it. I'm not excusing the pixelation-but I'm not going to totally rip someone who's at least trying to get it right.
