Pink Janine

Everyone's favorite Vivid wet-dream girl, Janine, stars in this 1998 film directed by Ralph Parfait. Those of you looking for brisk plotting and snappy dialogue should keep on going. However, for those of you who love to ogle Janine's perfect body and watch her have gooey lezbo sex (i.e. the rest of us) this DVD is right up your alley (so to speak).

Janine stars as a headlining exotic dancer in a small strip club (wow, talk about typecasting). Although Janine only gets it on in one scene at the end of the film with Randy Rage, we are treated to a nearly nonstop stage show by the curvy star. Janine dances, oils herself up and uses a dildo while on stage (this beats a night of "Hello Dolly" at the Tallahassee dinner theater anytime). The beautiful Janine does her best to work up the crowd and succeeds.

First, Janine's backstage assistant, the always stunning, natural hardbody, Alexandra Silk, puts on her own private strip show for peeping tom/fuck buddy, Nick East. Alexandra looks great, as usual, and has the most perfectly shaped tits and rock hard ass any guy could ever hope to get his hands on. I have to admit that Alexandra has been a personal favorite of mine since I first saw her in SHANE'S WORLD 11:PIER 69 (VHS) (Outstanding stuff!). Alexandra does her usual stellar job of gulping Nick's sausage and getting eaten out herself before taking it in a variety of positions. Although Alexandra initially takes Nick's goo on her chest she uses her mouth to help clean him off (now that's service with a smile).

Meanwhile, audience member, Roxanne Hall, another trim, blonde, all-natural beauty, gets so worked up by Janine's gyrations that she heads off to the barely private restroom to take care of herself. Roxanne barely has time to get the tip of her dildo wet when her boyfriend, John Decker, shows up to help her with the real thing. This scene is good, if fairly standard and a little bit frustrating due to the claustrophobic nature of these two getting it on in such a small space. Although I am usually irritated by multi-angle technology, I admit that I did take advantage of it during this scene to cope with constricted action. Moreover, the pop-shot in this scene is ruined by the fact that these two are screwing in a space no bigger than the dressing room at your local Wal-Mart as John apparently finishes off screen and Roxanne escapes un-fouled.

After hours, Mr. Marcus, the club bouncer(?), gives the high hard one to Jessica Collins, another stripper, who fears that Janine has been making eyes at her sweetie, Marcus. (Well, I guess Mr. Marcus showed Jessica how much he cares for her). The two engage in the usual oral, finger, standing and missionary positions before Mr. Marcus spreads his cream on Jessica's belly. (The poor handling of cum shots and lack of facials is only a mild complaint I have with this film).

Finally, Janine wraps up the evening with a rollicking lesbian scene with Randy Rage, a busty, brunette, patron who has been eyeing Janine's act all night. Janine and Randy go at it full steam with mouths, fingers, ass licking, and massive dildos.

All in all, this film is worth the investment particularly if you are a huge Janine fan because you do get to see a lot of her (inside and out). (Unlike films that ostensibly "star" your favorite porn chick but she only shows up once during the entire film). The ladies are uniformly hot (particularly Alexandra and Roxanne) and Janine looks terrific as always. Also, the film and sound quality are good (the sound level is quite high so make sure to keep your volume low if you have sensitive neighbors). Finally, this DVD is loaded with fun extras including bios and clips of all the major Vivid girls and plenty of quality extra scenes and previews which will keep you mighty entertained for hours on end (just make sure to use the direct menu access instead of the virtual reality access if you want to spend your hours watching porn and not fighting with your remote).
