Finger Fuckin' Good!
"Hot and nasty sloppy wet bitches" is what is advertised and offered on Jewel DeNyle's LICK BETWEEN THE LINES, #2 a gonzo title spotlighting lesbian action with an emphasis on cunnilingus and rimming. While I agree that the "bitches" are nasty and sloppy and wet, only a few strike me as being truly "hot." Most of the players here are just too darned thick, pierced or tattooed to make me even consider re-watching their scenes. Physically speaking, they're just not my type.
And neither is the conduct. I enjoy a good girl-girl as much as the next guy, but the gentle, soft-side of me wants more deep kissing, more gentle pussy-rubbing, and extended, yet sensual cunnilingus - elements which are almost antithetical to today's porn. Director Jewel DeNyle unleashes her no-holds-barred, extreme nastiness style in all five vignettes, so fans should enjoy this flick without complaint. However, those who prefer a bit more Andrew Blake or Michael Ninn in their lesbian flicks might not care for what's offered here.
Almost every scene takes place in the living room of an opulent mansion, with the last two affairs set in a barn and then a bedroom. The opening session between blonde Mariah Lousha and brunette Rene (also spelled "Renae") St. Germain (both wearing black) emphasizes a lot of squid poking with both tongue and fingers, but the pairing did absolutely nothing for me. Rene's tattoos seem to be everywhere, and she and her partner are beefy enough to be candidates for professional wrestling. (Just check out how they compare when Miss DeNyle is sandwiched between them during the Behind The Scenes featurette.) The sixty-nine positions are okay, and I appreciated the flicks of the tongue whenever they felt the urge to kiss. But this is a scene I won't watch again unless I'm legally compelled to.
Much better is the second scene with blondes Kelly and Ariel Summers. Both are petite and have a minimum of body ink. Highlights in their pairing include some well-done pussy-slamming which shows off their figures rather than just emphasizing genitalia. Just as good is the third scene with blonde Aaralyn Barra and dark-haired Angel Baby. Their towering high-heeled boots are sexy, and tall enough to make the Artist Formerly Known As Prince fall off a stage, but the multiple piercings on Angel (including four on her pussy and two on her nipples) prove to be distracting. Their heavy breathing dirty talk is effective, and Angel seems to enjoy exploring every inch of Aaralyn's sugar walls, but there isn't that much more to recommend here.
The next scene also compromises visual eye-candy for physical aggression when brunette Vanilla Sky and dirty blonde Nikki Nievez go at each other. In between some vigorous clit-licking, Vanilla spanks her girl hard on the ass, and Nikki responds with enthusiastic yelps. At any given moment, each girl stares balefully at the camera to emphasize the nastiness of it all, but I found the act here to be no more exciting than the previous scenes.
Finally, LICK BETWEEN THE LINES #2 ends with less than bang when Monique Ferrari and Ginger - both of whom are big boned brunettes, though Monique has a eyes which might remind one of former Vivid Girl Cassidy - gamely go at each other on a bed. There is a and faked feeling about their scene, as both girls look awkwardly at the camera while trying to do each other in a variety of the positions. While I definitely preferred this final scene over the first, it's easy to see why the director stuck this pairing at the end.
Extras include a Behind The Scenes featurette where Jewel DeNyle can be heard off camera and often. I was surprised to find out that Rene St. German was American, because her look simply screams of a Deutschland heritage. She shows off her tattoos proudly, and even the cameraman points out scars on her right arm which she explains as being the result of former piercings. The segment runs over twenty-five minutes, and I admit to being more intrigued by this video than in the main feature.
Visually, this Platinum X Pictures title meets up to studio standards, though the colors appear to be less vibrant than others. Audio is generally good, or at least as good as one can expect from this type of quickie production. Jewel DeNyle has proven herself time and time again to be a talented director, with a real taste for aggression and nastiness. However, LICK BETWEEN THE LINES #2 simply isn't attractive enough for me to give it a second look.
