OK, first off, this forgettable Vivid entry from 1991 is a bit confusing just because of its title. Even though it's called "Dreams of Candace Hart" on the cover art (and is spelled "Candace Heart" in the video titles themselves), there's no Candace Hart/Heart listed in the credits. That's because Candace Hart is also known as Laura Dean, who heads up the list of talent in the credits. But wait, there's more! Laura Dean is also known as Carolyn Monroe! So there ya go. Yet more confusion created by the ever-changing names of our beloved porno talent.

But maybe Candace/Laura/Carolyn had to keep reinventing herself because she's just not all that great. This kinda weak movie, directed by Nancy Blue, plays like a compilation of scenes from other films framed by one "story" in which Candace, along with her buddies Avalon and Heather Hart, are watching pornos and making out lezzie style as they watch the skinflicks. Exciting, huh? Yeah, right...it's as thrilling as it sounds, believe me.

The sapphic sexing is pretty tepid stuff, with prerequisite muff diving, dildo rubbing, and clit fingering that you'd normally expect and find. I've liked busty brunette Heather Hart many times before though, so I figured maybe she'd spice things up. But that didn't happen.

Anyway, the first porn scene they watch (and which - surprise! - we're treated to as well) features Christy Canyon and Jordan Smith (a.k.a. Cole Stevens) in an office. Christy looks great here, at least to me: I'll always prefer young Christy, with her fuller, plumper, less-droopy tits and that bit of baby fat on her body, over older, skinnier C.C. any day of the week. Still, in the area of extras, Wave DVD has a solid batch: a total of five extra sex scenes from different films (two in a "Bonus" section on the menu, and three under a "XXXtra" heading), seven trailers, and website info. All in all, I'd say the extras were more entertaining than the movie itself. In the end, though, that still doesn't really justify picking up this disc unless you happen to be a huge fan of one or more of the stars.
