Bookie Nights

Produced and Directed by adult star Dee, Bookie Nights is pretty much a failure in terms of acting and a storyline, but I have to give it credit for some nicely done sex scenes - all of which are quite watchable, and (gasp!) none of which feature a blonde!

As noted, the storyline is pretty bare bones, but does revolve around covergirl Faith Leon playing a bookie and Felony playing a police officer assigned to investigate her. The movie opens with a nice coupling between brunette newcomer Isabella Dior and Dean Kane that takes place on a couch. After some oral from Dean and a return blowjob from Isabella, she mounts him in the reverse cowgirl position and after a few minutes spins around to cowgirl. She then lies back on the couch to take missionary style, and not long afterwards, Dean shoots his cum onto her lower body and pussy.

We are introduced to Faith in Scene Two, who is paying off Franko Del Torro, whom she owes $15,000. Franko agrees to drop the payment to $13,000 if Faith will have sex with him. She playfully agrees, and the two go into a nearby bedroom for some action. Faith looks hot in this scene, keeping her black heels on throughout. Lacey Luv is a worker for Faith, and she greets Donny Long at the door, who has arrived to pay off a bet. New studio Sinsation Pictures is currently being distributed by Wicked, meaning viewers will pretty much get the same kind of quality. The video here has been anamorphically enhanced, and while some of the angles were darker than I would have liked, all in all, this is a pretty good transfer. This is a 2-DVD release, with the main feature and a trailer for the upcoming release Tru Lies on Disc One; and the rest of the bonus material on Disc Two. On the second DVD viewers will find two bonus scenes (a Faith Leon solo masturbation segment; and blonde-haired Jamie Bond in her first-ever sex scene); a 39-minute behind the scenes featurette; a photo gallery; and six trailers for other Sinsation titles.

This review marked my first exposure to Sinsation Pictures, and while I wasn't "blown away", I did enjoy the movie enough that I'll be checking out future releases from this studio. Overall, this is great rental material, especially if you prefer brunettes over blondes.
