Perfect Match (Wicked Pictures)

With more and more people using and meeting one another via the Internet, the premise of finding one's "true love" through an online dating service doesn't seem as far fetch or "odd" as it did five or six years ago. So while Michael Raven's Perfect Match would have been a cooler idea for an adult movie in years past, it still makes for a good couples comedy today.

Katie Morgan stars in this one as a young woman who just can't seem to meet the right guy by going out to the bars (truth be told, it's a wonder anyone hooks up with the type of people you meet in bars!). We see one of her "disaster" dates in the second sex scene of the movie, as she makes out with "cowboy" Evan Stone - who is so full of himself that he starts bragging after their sexual encounter about just how many women he's been with and how much money he makes.

On the other side of the sexual pendulum is Eric Masterson, who is having his own trouble with women. He hits the bars routinely with best-friend Barrett Blade, although both are looking for different kind of women. Eric wants someone to settle down with, while Barrett is looking for the one-night stand, or at least the kind of woman who isn't going to ask to cuddle when the sex is over!

Of course, both men wind up with exactly the opposite of what they are seeking. In the opening scene we see Eric getting it on with Hillary Scott in the bar's bathroom, and right after he pops his load into her mouth, she's already begging for more sex. Then, in Scene Three, we see Barrett with newcomer Andreza Valentino, who's a real "clinger" when it comes to relationships - telling Barrett how she loves him after they make out, and seeing if he wants to spend the day with her.

Also thrown into the mix is Katie's best friend, played by Monica Mayhem, whom we get to see in a pairing with Derrick Pierce. Monica portrays a girl who likes to hook up frequently with the same guy, but isn't looking for much beyond the sexual aspect of their relationship. Surprisingly, their scene is the least entertaining of the five on this release, possibly because we never learn much about Monica's character before seeing her on-screen performance.

Katie and Eric finally get it on in the final scene, and it's a nice one, thanks to the "build up" that the movie provides in its storytelling. The two go at it on a couch, with Katie getting penetrated in the reverse cowgirl and doggy positions. Viewers may be disappointed that the pop shot is on Katie's ass instead of her face...but at least the movie is honest: how many girls have you been in a long-term relationship with that let you shoot on their face the first time out? Anyone? Bueller?

The movie is presented in widescreen anamorphic, with a 5.1 Dolby track (with 2.0 options in both Spanish and German). Extras on the disc include the 2-minute trailer for Perfect Match; a 20-minute Behind The Scenes featurette; and an 11 ½-minute bonus scene between Katie Morgan and Eric Masterson taken from the release of Naked Illusions. Slide shows, star statistics, promo materials and trailers round out the extras.

Pleasant and enjoyable, but never falling into the "must see" category, Perfect Match is something you'll want to add to your rental or VOD list, but probably not a title you'll want to own unless you're a die-hard Katie Morgan fan. It's one of those pornos you'll enjoy the first time through, but forget quickly thereafter.
