What do you get when you mix a couple exotic dancers, a sleazy club owner and a cheating boyfriend with sun and surf? Well, Hawaii of course! Okay, this particular Vivid title is not exactly an award winning piece of masterful erotica, but... the setting is so damn nice! In fact, it's hard to not like Hawaii simply because it encompasses that "paradise" fantasy so well. This is the story of an exotic dance review, Chasey Lain and Dyanna Lauren, that travel to a club located on the beautiful Isle of Hawaii. The club is owned and operated by a stereotypical reptilian guy played by Marc Wallice. What soap opera styled flick would it be if it didn't have turmoil? Of course, as fate would have it, the strippers have a falling out. Seems Dyanna's boyfiend, Colt Steele, decides to visit the island too. That's not all he does. Colt treads dangerous waters by venturing into the forbidden zone...Chasey's bikini. I guess it's hard to resist the temptations of such a beautiful place.

Intertwined with the drama, various beach-front sexual trysts abound. A decently shot encounter having J.R. Carrington teamed up, separately, with Alec Metro and then Bobby Vitale highlights the feature. All three meet in a wet little cove. Suddenly Bobby has to go...but he'll be back shortly. While he's gone J.R. and Alec jump right into some feverish fucking. Quite intense scene. You'd think J.R. would be a bit tired after this, but no. Here comes Bobby and off they go to sexual bliss. One helluva workover Ms. Carrington gets. Most of the sex occurs on the beach with the exception of some center stage action in the club.

Other pairings include; Nick East and J.R. against a tree, Colt and Chasey on the beach, Asia Carrera and Marc on the beach and Colt and Dyanna...you guessed it...on the beach. Trust me, though, the sex-on-the-beach thing is not redundant. Of course the sex is not what I would call "wild" or "uninhibited" either, but the scenery backdrop makes this movie perfect for rainy day or wintery blues. It can cure them! This flick is good couples-fair. It's not too wild, the storyline keeps the attention and it all happens in gorgeous weather. Inclusive sex acts are the generally mild girl/girl, oral and standard fucking - no anal intrusions nor any double penetrations. This may be slightly too mild for some but remember the main idea here - BEACH. It helps that the cast is decent, too. Good looking females and not-to-shabby fellas are always a plus as well. On dvd, Vivid always makes fair to good impression with their extras. The menus, interactive game room and trailers, I think, are always a nice touch. What not to expect from Hawaii; special effects, award-winning acting and fancy camera work. DO expect; hot bodies, hot sun, and that "I wish the hell it was me on that freakin' beach" feeling! So grab up a copy and wait for that shitty overcast or freeze-your-nuts/tits-off day...and enjoy.

I thought this movie would be great with a almost all star cast but, the scenes weren't even that great. Brittany Andrews is hot but her sex scene was fairly short. Chasey lain and Dyanna Lauren scenes didn't cut out for me. Jr Carrington I felt was watsed in this film. Asia Carrera wasn't at her best as well. If this was for rent I say at least worth the rent.

Never again will I buy a Vivid DVD. The DVD lacks a true menu screen, it only has a chapter menu. A few scenes were edited out which made the movie a little choppy. The audio was very bad, you can see the girls moan but you can't hear them. I have a two more vivid DVD's and their similiar to this quality. Unless Vivid starts to put out better DVD's I won't buy them.

Hawaii - Good buy!

This DVD was pretty good. I wish there were more scenes with Dyanna and Chasey. Especially Chasey! It really makes you want to go f?k ing in Hawaii.

This film is a boner from the beggining! I will start with the positive points of the movie and then gradually get to bad points of the movie. To begin with, this is a define buy as the actresses in this flick perform very erotically! Starting from the scence with Alex Sanders and the peelers in the strip bar, to the sex scences on the beach with Dyanna Lauren and Chasey Lain, this movie is HOT! However, there weren't enough scenes with Chasey or Dyanna and that is what made the movie not score perfect. Each of these sex goddesses had only one scence each. If Chasey went bareback with her partner, that would have been better. The atmosphere just makes you want to get laid in Hawaii and in the hot sun! I definately recommend this film!
