Legs In The Air

Do not waste your time or your money.

I guess the first thing to say about this film is that if you haven't seen a Marc Dorcel movie yet, they really offer something different as far as adult films go. Where so many productions are little more than a loosely connected string of sex scenes, the Dorcel stamp usually guarantees an interesting story, some kind of an attempt at acting, plenty of style and a lot of other things besides, including beautiful women, great locations, superb sex and even prolonged foreplay between actors who really seem to be looking forward to the encounter. Unfortunately, the subtly titled Legs in the Air doesn't feature any of this.

The DVD begins with an encounter on the balcony of a chateau. The girl is an attractive, if small breasted brunette and after we are treated to some superb closeup footage of her pussy becoming wetter and wetter as the guy (Marc) fingers it, she gives him what can only be described as a lovingly expert blow job. They then chase each other around the building, having sex wherever and whenever he manages to catch her, though the action never quite lives up to its high voltage beginnings.

Feeling slightly let down, because Dorcel has produced some classic movies, we cut to Marc as his partner Bruno assigns him the difficult task of looking after his bodacious wife. Although Bruno has given Marc strict instructions to keep his hands off aaaa, this doesn't prevent him giving blond Monica Moore a road test while she helps him try to get his grass cutter started. Despite having a promising location, this scene is uninspiring, partly because the actors are just a little too professional and end up doing a sex by numbers, grunt here, moan there, now we do the cumshot routine. This is followed by another scene, identical in every respect, except that it features a brunette, takes place on a bed and ends with a facial that sprays cum all over her immaculately kept hair.

Meanwhile, Bruno's wife is passing the time with a young guy who no-one seems to have thought to introduce us to - guess he was just passing. This lady has a great rack and though this is a short clip, for once we are treated to a titfuck followed by a cumshot on her breasts. Then, just when our hopes have been raised, they are dashed again by another lacklustre scene featuring artificially manufactured sex between a couple who seem barely interested in going the distance. The only feature linking these scenes is that there doesn't seem to be any reason whatever for them happening, beyond the studio happened to have the actors available at the time.

After this, there is no hope for the rest of the DVD. Though at least one of the scenes that follow is passable, the unimaginative sex and the sheer lack of interest most of the actors display in it condemn the disc to the also-ran category. This is a shame, because for readers who have tired of wham, bam, thank you maam porn, Dorcel DVDs generally do offer an escape and Wicked are to be congratulated for bringing them to a wider audience; what this disk demonstrates, if nothing else, is that Dorcel doesn't get it right all the time. There is more to making good pornography than sticking two adult stars in the same bed, giving them a list of moves and hoping things turn out OK. In this case, they didn't, unless you are interested in the pure mechanics of sex - and let's face it, with thousands of movies available, you can get that anywhere.
