The first review here for "Mission: Erotica" was
in error. There are not eight sex scenes; there
are only six (five if you count two happening at
the same time in different locations as one). Also,
although the box cover says the video stars Peter
North, Heather Hunter, Vince Voyeur, and T.T. Boy,
they are nowhere to be found on this video. The
credits do acknowledge that they are not in this
video, however.

Ever since Vivid has been putting out DVDs, they
have been removing scenes from their DVDs that are
on their VHS counterparts. It happened with "Hawaii", "Masseuse 3", and
numerous other DVDs. Why? Vivid does not seem to
want to address this issue. Do those extra scenes
cost extra money to the DVD replication facilities?

As for the movie, it's an OK plot. Kobe Tai gets
to be in three scenes and they are mediocre. The
sex scenes all lack heat (the Marc Davis 3-way is
pretty good), unlike other Vivid DVDs
like "Bad Wives" or "Ancient Secrets of the Kama
Sutra". I wonder if those cut scenes would have
made the scenes any hotter?

The audio is decent, nothing spectacular. The
picture quality is also decent. The extras
are pretty good: the 3-D effect works here. How
do you get that key in the dungeon? Or, is it a
tease? At least the intro to the DVD is shorter.

Unless you're a Kobe Tai fan, you might be better
off buying something else.

A slick, ambitious story of intrigue and espionage involving the usual trappings: planted evidence, double-and triple-crossings, stoolies, hoodlums, guns, --and the one key element missing from the spoofed source, Mission: Impossible--tons of animalistic sex. Kobe Tai plays the lead and appears in several very physical scenes, both sexual and otherwise. Kobe fans will worship this film: She fucks at least four times and is one loud specimen. She, and the bigger-boned Asia Carrera, do an admirable job performing their tricky roles, delivering complex dialogue.

Each fuck scene (8 in all) is, in no uncertain terms, mercury busting. Director Zen does a good job with camera and editing, showing the best of each encounter, bringing out what is anatomically supreme in each body, setting up great configurations, like when Missy sits on top of Stephanie Swift, pries her ass apart for the hard and crazed Mickey G., the dives under the grunting fuckers to lap up the drippings.

By the end of the flick you have Kobe laying herself out on a table naked for T.T. Boy's lunch. He chows into her loins while Vince Vouyer keeps her head from flying off. The the boys drop trou and bang away at both ends as if they were trying to get their dicks to meet somewhere in the middle of her torso.
