More Dirty Debutantes #177

It has been a while since I have watched a Dirty Debutantes title, and after taking a peek at More Dirty Debutantes #177, I remembered why I prefer Randy West's Up and Cummers series to the one hosted by Ed Powers.

Once again, as with many editions of Dirty Debutantes, the video and audio are sub-par. The lighting is horrible and the video is full of noticeable defects and pixilation. The audio makes it virtually impossible to hear the girls, as cranking up the volume may help you understand what they are saying, but it sounds so muddy and echoey, most viewers will just give up and turn it back down again. Then, to add insult to injury, Ed acknowledges the poor quality by occasionally putting a disclaimer across the screen apologizing for the poor quality...well, thanks Ed!

Some of this could be acceptable if the girls that Ed conjures up would occasionally give the appearance that they want to be in the same room with Mr. Powers. Most of the women seem like they just want to get their money and get the hell out of there, and this is obviously apparent with the first girl, Serena (aka Catalina...whom I believe was the same girl in the Taylor St. Clair/T.T. Boy scene in Fast Times At Deep Crack High Vol. 1). Her opening scene is only a masturbating one, as she gets herself off with her fingers and a toy. But she pops up later in the film to do a scene with Ed, and one in which she either is so taken by the camera man she can't take her eyes off him, or one in which she is so repulsed by Ed that looking at the camera is the only way she can get through the scene.

Next up is Jade Marxx, who I have to admit, at least seems to enjoy some of the stuff that goes on in her two scenes, one with Ed and a second one with Jay Ashley. Jade seems to get through the scene with Ed with a certain amount of enjoyment...but lest their be any question to the type of guy who really gets her off, just watch her reaction when Jay comes in and goes down on her pussy...if she's not cumming, she's one hell of a good actress!

The last girl on the DVD is Molina, a short-haired, average-looking blonde who, to her credit, is one of the few women I have seen in the Dirty Debutante films that actually seems to enjoy having sex on camera with Ed. The fact that she seems more into it than others, elevates her scene, so the movie doesn't end all that badly. She's also the only girl on the disc to clean Ed's cock off with her tongue after he cums on her face...but like all the others, she also turns her head when the initial blast from Ed lands on her cheek.

With all the volumes of this series that are being pumped out per year, I suppose it is not surprising that so many of them disappoint when it comes to action. Perhaps if Ed took a little more time in his selection of women, setting up the action, and perhaps most importantly...providing a watchable picture with good audio, better things could come from the Dirty Debutantes series. But not this time around...More Dirty Debutantes #177 is just more of the same from the Ed Powers porn machine.
