Riley Steele Bar Pussy

Even though she has appeared in less than 25 flicks (as of the date of this review) and has remained exclusive to Digital Playground, Riley Steele has already become one of my all-time modern favorites, joining the ranks of Tori Black, Eva Angelina and Alexis Texas among a handful of others. She's a tall blonde with a rocking figure and eyes which are every bit as gorgeous as Ginger Lynn's. What's not to like about her? For the last three years, her erotic performances have only gotten better and better with each new release. In THE SMITHS, she plays the younger sister of Kayden Kross, and displays a sexy confidence before the cameras which nearly steals the thunder from the star attraction. In LOVE FOOL, she performs in three of six scenes, and yet each encounter feels fresh and spontaneous.

I'm not quite sure that BAR PUSSY matches the creative standards of those flicks. Even though she appears in two bookending scenes, they happen to be with the same actors, namely bartender Scott Nails and his friend James Deen. It helps that each takes place in different locales (Simon's Bar, which is the title's place of reference, and then Nails's house), but to have the same performers do the deed twice is more than just deja vu. But if it weren't for Riley's superior skills at cocksucking and cock-riding, such repetition might have induced boredom.

Jenny Hendrix, a sometimes brunette, sometimes blonde sexpot with large brown eyes and one of the sexiest mouths in adult, is the next one to visit Simon's Bar. We see her in a short, tight dress which shows off her legs and cleavage to great effect. Her anal pairing with Tommy Gunn is good, but she's definitely had harder and raunchier scenes in FRESH OUTTA HIGH SCHOOL #6 and ASS ADDICTION #6, just to name two of her over one hundred titles.

Blonde Yasmine Gold gets squeezed between Mr. Blue and Mr. Nails in the third scene. While her double duty work on the guys is appreciated (even in the absence of any anal or double penetration), I really would have liked to have seen a different kind of threesome involving two girls on one guy (or just a plain old lesbian scene would have done the trick). With the exceptions of pseudo-freak shows like gangbangs, and only if they're done well, multiple guys on a single girl are of no real interest to me, so the three boy/girl/boy outings offer no added stimulation value.

Standing out above the crowd is a foursome (actually, more like a two by twosome) featuring Kerry Louise and Larissa Dee, who warm-up the tireless team of Scott and James by some brief flirting on a couch. They retreat to the bedroom where Mr. Scott takes on Miss Dee, and Mr. Deen handles Miss Louise, but for whatever reason, they don't exchange partners and both girls avoid teaming up to please one guy. Like Jenny, Larissa does anal which really adds some nastiness to the mix, but the girls' monogamous lifestyle disappoints.

The ten minute Behind The Scenes is standard entertainment for most Digital Playground features, and while it's better produced than most, I wish there was more to see (longer interviews, extended hardcore footage and so on). I'm still waiting for the day when the studio fills their Blu-ray discs with more than just a photo gallery and trailers, if only to satisfy typical consumer interest in such bells and whistles. It goes without saying that the high definition picture looks terrific, and the surround mix is clear and articulate (but don't expect too many directional sound effects).

However, there's no doubt that BAR PUSSY works for me thanks to Miss Steele and Miss Hendrix. If these girls were paired in a single scene (does Riley have any interest in girls, I wonder?), then the results would have been spectacular. Instead, what we get is a video which is merely pretty good.
