Anal Sweetness

I like Mike. Really, I do. When he's on his game, his scenes are the best in the business. But Mike is also weird, and when he indulges that weirdness, I find myself more frequently repulsed than disinterested. I take a chance because Mike routinely has the hottest women out there doing the dirtiest things. Look here, for example. Jodi Taylor is in her first anal scene, even if she is wearing WAAAAAAAAAAAY too much makeup, neutralizing her girl-next-door attraction. And there's Chanel Preston and Jessie Rogers together. And Casey Calvert with her first anal scene alongside the non-anal Riley Reid. I mean, it can't be easy to get this much talent together, so I gotta roll with the dude and see what he comes up with. Mike still has weird walls. It's like they're painted by a ice cream truck driver who joined a street gang. I do wish Mike could back off the ass gargling, where there's a whole load of slobber up a gaping ass and he has them, well, gargle it. Yeah. Jessie and Chanel are really hot together, and they manage to avoid most of the weirdness, though there is plenty of playing with spit, thinking that's somehow hot, and other bits that I feel like I have to apologize to the person watching this with me over. The scene is hot, but the added accoutrements throw is all off. I'm keeping it, but I'm not loving it. Bailey Blue goes next. I had kind of forgotten about her, and I know I'm going back a bit and catching up reviewing this film; this is her first anal scene as well. She's way cuter here than the box cover gives her credit for, though her attempts at dirty talk are laughably bad. And what is it about Mike wanting to look so far up a girl's ass? Does he have an intestinal fetish? He's wearing his Nightmare on Elm Street sweater to start the scene with Jodi. It's alright, but again, she's wearing way too damn much makeup for this scene. A shame, since she's a real cutie. Her ass also gets a bit inside out, so of course Mike has to film that up close. Aleksa Nicole and Sammie Spade have an okay scene. Neither of them really do it for me, but what looks like emerging intestines closeup is in no way a turn on. Fuck, Mike, why do you have to do things like that? Riley and Casey are a hot combo, and this scene manages to stay mostly normal. Miracle of miracles, I suppose. Actually, this is what I want Mike to do most of the time. I know he's capable of it. I think, aside from being weird, my only major problem with this film was that it didn't need to be on two discs. Not the way most scenes felt. The pacing was so slow that a lot of them lost their heat at times, like they were thinking about what weird thing they could do to turn off 80 percent of the audience or something. This could have been a very tight and tidy film with a scene removed on one disc. Say the Aleksa and Sammie scene:
cut that and throw it on one disc and I'm happy. I do wish Mike would stop being weird. I know that's not going to happen. But I can hope. Maybe Mike's at his best when he's directing for someone else rather than his own releases. Then his excesses are pulled in just a bit. That's the balance I'd be looking for. Because while Anal Sweetness is a nice film, there's enough here making me cringe to keep it from being the film I go and grab when I want to watch something hot right now.
