Overwrought and bloated. Don't bother.
What a mess. Saving Humanity had potential, but it it fails at being the cult sic-fi hit it so badly wants to be. As it rips off just about every since fiction movie ever made, from 2001 to Star Wars first-time director Kim Nielsen forgot to include the sex. You get the feeling that there was much more to the girl-girl tryst between Celeste Star and Sinn Sage than was included. The same can be said for the all-girl orgy at the film's climax. you get there was more here but the hottest footage was left out. Bizarrely, a song and dance number against a green screen wraps things up, but it feels like it was just thrown in without any real purpose. The budget for this must have been high, but when will producers learn that you cannot just throw money at a movie and expect it to turn out good? Overwrought, bloated and cheesy, Saving Humanity is a big disappointment.
