Rocco's Way To Love

Not unlike European films of the "mainstream" sort, Euro-porn flicks often fall into the Avant-garde genre, or so I see it. Provocative, edgy, experimental and, above all, unique, these are typical characteristics associated with films produced by people who think "outside the box". Way To Love is porn with a plot. It is tense and dramatic - at times even gritty. Further, this Evil Angel production is extremely erotic. Not necessarily for all tastes, but nevertheless, the appealing elements are engrossing and should serve as pleasurable and memorable eye-candy for both Rocco fans and adventurous couples alike.

Now, lust and wanton behavior are two traits frequenting story-driven erotica, as also in Way To Love. However, a key distinction between this film and many of the "others" is the addition of "just enough" character development to justify the behavior patterns. This implementation of behavior provides that extra "umph" necessary for thought-provoking audience response. Though a bit confusing at first, as the movie progresses we gain an understanding of the conflicts, actions and reactions the three major characters engage in. The confusion may well have been intentional anyway. Virtually flawless throughout, this film contains little or no unintentional attributes - every element serves a purpose.

Rocco's Way to Love is an uncompromising tale examining (in a roundabout way) one woman's dissatisfaction with "normalcy" - and untimely demise by another's hands. Her relationship is mundane and her role in life is equally displeasing. Boyfriend Gabriel, far from understanding and rather uncooperative, provides no comfort. Her search for untamed love and sexual submission is embodied in a tall, dark and handsome character played by none other than Rocco Siffredi. Kelly Stafford, portraying the emotionally torn woman, is scarcely seen within the first half of the film, yet what is seen of her provides plenty of insight to her distraught persona. Subtle hints of Kelly's disturbance include footage, interlaced throughout the movie, displaying her passion for "wilder" endeavors: reading De Sade, playing on bondage furniture and arguing with beau on a peaceful beach - all photographed in shades of antique pastel and straight-up b/w.

"Bad" chapters simply don't exist in Way to Love. Every sexual scenario is erotically charged and full of surprises, in their individual ways. There are two segments, though, that deserve particular mention. The first, a lengthy mind-bender, initiates by paying a brief homage to the unforgettable Pulp Fiction scene; "Bring out the gimp." As the dominant female , Katherine Count opens a small floor-level cupboard door thus revealing the presence of blonde female submissive wearing only fishnet stockings. We are unable to see her face as this "gimp" is led out of her confinement and immediately concealed with a latex mask (resembling that of a simplified non-cloth Mexican wrestling style), which incidentally is much too large for her head. Amanda, acting as the gimp, is further escorted into a bathroom where Rocco awaits. The forthcoming action begins with a blowjob of dark and grinding proportion, complete with plenty of spit and overloaded with sub/dom theme. What's even more interesting, not unlike most of the other chapters, is just when you think a scene contains two or three actors... via superb camera work... our eyes our directed into adjoining rooms where more actors are pursuing sexual frolic. Ultimately, the (sexual) chapters overlap one another with seamless movement. Back to the ongoing action... the oral antics are then overshadowed by a surreal orgy - highlighted by Spanish star Nacho railing Katherine's ass - the finest ass in this film - with pure vengeance.

That "other" notable chapter will most certainly raise an eyebrow or two. A three-way tryst, plentiful in terms of fucking, sucking and ass banging, turns rather drastically into total female dominance as the handsome Englishman finds himself on the receiving end of phallic sex toys. Yes... not once, but twice, utilizing both a translucent (and pretty damn thick) dong and a thinner anal-suited dong, the gent's female cohorts expand his horizons with great fervor. A well performed lesson: "Love is a two way street."

Way to Love is, again, uncompromising in all aspects; photography, attitude, style and, of course, sex. Dynamically speaking, this production is mesmerizing with inclusions of virtually every kind of sexual variation one could possibly jam into 2-1/2 hours - without being overkill! Further examples of "quality" include a very attractive cast performing acts of; multi-positional fucking, lesbian, orgies, gaping anals, truly sloppy blowjobs, analingus, ass-to-mouth, toe-fucking... and so on!

Experience has shown me that, in general, European porn possesses unmatched actor "chemistry". No matter the intensity, how bizarre the variety, the taboo nature of the scenario... the cast pulls it all off without a glitch. Not a hint of preconceived mechanical choreography. Hmmm...it's just more natural in appearance.
